What is the recommended oil type for 2016 Mazda CX-5?

hey so i got a 2016 mazda cx-5 last year and i was wondering what oil you guys use without any oil change issues it’s been pretty smooth so far man, i always make sure to use synthetic 5w-20 recommended by Mazda it’s just way better for the engine performance i guess and the mileage hasn’t made my wallet cry yet. But i was leaning towards conventional but my buddy told me synthetic’s the way to go. Why do u think synthetic is better, maybe cuz it stays good in hot and cold weather?

and like last month i was thinking about switching to 10w-30 coz i heard it’s good for longevity but then i read online it might not be ideal for summer here. And don’t tell me what oil your cx-5 uses if you never owned one, but can 10w-30 be bad for my car during hot weather? maybe i should just stick with Mazda’s suggestion lol. let me know what oil you use and what’s your experience like
