Which is better: Ford Escape or Toyota RAV4 for families?

Alright, so I’ve been thinking about Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 for my family. Ford Escape is super comfy, and my cousin loved how it felt smooth on the highway. But, the space isn’t as much as I hoped for with kids and all the gear. How about you guys?

Toyota RAV4’s got great reviews for reliability, and mine didn’t guzzle gas as much. But I did feel like it was a bit cramped when we had all our bags for a trip. Plus, I’ve heard the AC isn’t the best. Still, it seems to handle well.

So, is reliability the big deal for us, or is space more important? and which cab hoods your preferences :eyes:

I’ve driven both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 around Toronto. The RAV4 is way more spacious for the kiddos and has cooler tech features. Although the Escape’s styling is sharp, I’ve gotta say the RAV4 fits family road trips better, enhances reliability too. Spending quality time while cruising, u know?

I’ve driven both in Toronto, and gotta say, the RAV4 feels more solid. My kids love the room in the RAV4 but the Escape’s ride smoother, big driveways all year! Families need reliability, IMO. Better tech too in the RAV4. Go Toyota for peace of mind! :red_car:

I’ve got a couple of family road trips down east coast to compare the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4. The Escape’s great with fuel economy and space for kids, but I’ve found the RAV4 is sturdier and handles better on icy roads up north. Everyone’s easygoing in the RAV4’s backseat, and that touchscreen’s nifty for entertainment. Both solid picks, but RAV4’s interior space is a game changer for families. So far, we’re leaning RAV4, but both are solid options!

I’ve had both, the Ford Escape and the Toyota RAV4. Living in Canada, I found the RAV4’s reliability and fuel efficiency better for my family. Escape’s ride was nice, but the RAV4’s space and cargo were tops for our outdoor adventures. Both are solid choices, but I lean toward the RAV4.

I’ve got an Escape for years, lived around Chicago, and it’s a solid choice for city driving. RAV4’s got the edge on space though, had good runs cross Texas with it. Accommodation’s key when the pops out, but both are solid family haulers. Ford’s got a cool vibe, but Toyotas rare to break down!

Growing up in Toronto, I’ve driven both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 for my family. The RAV4’s reliability and space win me over every time. It’s like a cozy living room on wheels! The Escape’s style’s nice, but when you’ve got a family, practicality’s key. You can’t go wrong with Toyota’s dependability, trust me.

I’ve had the chance to drive both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 here in California with my fam. The Escape’s got a cozy interior but feels a bit cramped when my kids and their gear are on board. The RAV4’s space game is strong—a big yay for longer trips! My hubby thinks both are freaking reliable, but I’d say if you’re all about space and a smooth ride, the Toyota edges out, especially if you’re road-tripping a lot! :red_car:

I’ve been living in Canada for years and gotta say, I’ve owned both. The Ford Escape gives you cool tech for the kids, but the Toyota RAV4 feels more reliable, especially when winter hits hard. So, for families here, RAV4 imho stands out. Just my two cents!

I’ve driven both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 in California. For families, I have found the RAV4 to be more reliable, with great mileage and spacious. Escape was cool but had issues with the ride smoothness. Totally depends on personal preference tho!

I’ve got a Ford Escape, been drivin’ it in Ontario for years with my kids. Roomy, handles winter slick roads well, and gas ain’t too bad. Nah mean, the Toyota RAV4 is a beast too, but my Escape just feels snug and reliable for family road trips and daily life runnin’. Total truster, y’know?

I’ve got two kids and drove both the Ford Escape and the Toyota RAV4 in Texas. The RAV4 felt more spacious and reliable for family road trips. It had smooth handling, which is huge when you got a screaming toddler in the back. The Escape was comfy but didn’t feel as robust. Also, the RAV4’s tech features are bang on for GPS and safety, making it a fave for us. Always gets me the thumbs up during carpool. Both solid, but Toyota edges ahead!

I’ve been drivin a Ford Escape for years back in Michigan, and it’s solid for families, especially with space for car seats and gadgets. Then me fiancé tested a RAV4 up North in Canada – handles better in snow. Each has its perks, so maybe consider what really matters – comfort or reliability – for your fam.

I’ve had both in Texas, fam. The Ford Escape’s got that power and sporty vibe, but the RAV4 outdid it in space and reliability. My family felt the room vibes with the Toyota, especially with my expandin’ brood. The tech features are pretty dope too. All in all, for a solid, no hassle family ride, RAV4 wins. But hey, if style matters more to you, the Escape’s a snazzy beast. It’s just a matter of what you value most. You know what I’m sayin’.

I’ve got two kiddos, and we split time between NYC and Toronto. I’ve driven both cars, and honestly, the Toyota RAV4 felt more spacious and comfy for the fam. Better backseat room, which is gold when packing for a road trip. Loved its smooth handling in the city too. But the Escape had got some cool tech features! Ultimately, RAV4 just edge it for family vibes. Drive safe, everyone! :red_car::dash:

I’ve been test drivin’ both in sunny California. The Ford Escape rides smooth and feels comfy for long road trips with kiddos in the back. Toyota RAV4 sips fuel like a champ though, which is nice on the wallet. For families, both are solid, but it’s oh-so-close! Escape’s easy on the eyes for me, if ya know what I mean.

I’ve been driving around Ontario for years, and I’ve gotta say, both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 are solid choices for families—ya know, especially with lotsa road trips and errands. But, I think I’d lean more toward the RAV4—for its reliability n comfort. Last summer, we went hiking and had so much space for gear, it was legit. It’s all about what fits your fam’s vibe, y’know?

I’ve got this carpool thing in Toronto, right? So many peeps swear by the Toyota RAV4—feels solid and roomy. But my buddy’s Ford Escape? Great fuel efficiency n’ all. Depends tho, RAV4’s the classic pick for larger families sometimes, but Escape’s easier on the wallet. It’s a tight call tho—can’t say one way or the other. Gotta test drive!

I’ve driven both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 up and down the Pacific Northwest. For families, I’ve found the RAV4 nails it with solid build quality and better mileage. Escape’s been good for quick trips, but RAV4 just has that extra family vibe. Seriously, roomier interior makes a difference—always swings my family’s vote!

I’m from Toronto and have had both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 for my family. I’ve gotta say, the RAV4 is more reliable and roomy—perfect for my kids’ soccer gear. Plus, it’s got that extra oomph in the engine. The Escape’s alright, comfy ride and decent cargo space, but the RAV4 just feels more robust, you know? It’s like a trusty workhorse compared to the Escape’s smoother, but less durable ride. Definitely a no-brainer for my brood!
