Which is better: Ford Edge versus Ford Escape for families?

Decided between a Ford Edge and Ford Escape for the fam and wanted to see what y’alls think. The Escape’s great for smaller families, feels like a mini-van but fun to drive. Easier to park too, which is a huge plus when you’ve got a toddler running around. But, the Edge is like the big bro, more room for everyone, especially for road trips. Plus, the backseat is like a lounge for the kids :stuck_out_tongue: But does the extra space in the Edge justify the cost difference?

I took my cousin’s Edge to the grocery store once, and man, it was easy to cram in all the groceries. And speaking of comfort, driving the Edge feels like a smooth ride. But can it handle city traffic without feeling bulky? Both cars have great safety features, so it’s like a no-brainer on that front. So what do you all think? More space or ease of parking? Let me know your thoughts, and whether you’ve driven both around.

I’ve got both a Ford Edge and a Ford Escape, and my fav is the Edge for family trips. When I ve cruised the I-95 in Florida, that extra space is a game-changer. The Escape is tight but great for city driving. Edge just kicks it up a notch with somethin’ for the fam. In Canada or good ol’ US, Edge wins it for me!

I’ve been all over Canada driving both the Ford Edge and Escape. Edge’s more roomy, nailed it for long trips with the fam. But Escape’s smaller and kinda cute, easier to park in the city. It’s super comfy for quick errands, too. So Edge for big adventures, Escape for city life. Personal preference really, but Edge wins for my crew.

I had the Ford Escape for a few years, living in Michigan; turns out great for city errands! Big family drives cross-country with the Edge, though. More room, might be worth it for longer trips. Everyone fits comfy, got room for all the gear too. Both awesome, depends on how ya roll!

Once I moved to Toronto, fam had to choose between Edge and Escape. The Edge, for us, was the bomb for space and comfy for long drives. But for city life with nippers, the Escape was sleeker, easier to park in tight spots. Both ride smooth but picking between 'em boils down to how much you need room versus maneuverability. Such a tricky decision, huh?

In Toronto, I’ve gotta say Ford Edge wins for my family road trips—more space for all our gear and feels roomier driving around the city. My fam likes it more comfy than the Escape. Breaking down for a quick drive? Then the Escape’s slick. Both solid choices tho!

I’ve lived in Toronto for years, and between the Ford Edge and Escape, the Edge is more our jam for family trips. Roomy and smooth on highways, but the Escape is compact for city moves. Both great, but for cruising, Edge wins!

Living in Ontario, I’ve been torn between the Edge and Escape. The Escape’s smaller size is great for city driving, parking in tight spots easy. Yet, last summer road trip, I had the Edge, loved the extra space and ride comfort. Families with long drives or a lot of gear might prefer Edge, but for those city folk, Escape keeps it chill. Actually depends on your lifestyle and how much road adventuring you do!

In Miami, I’ve found the Ford Edge hits the sweet spot for my family. More legroom and comfy rides on long drives. Escape’s fun but Edge just knocks it dead when it comes to space and style. Plus, parking city ain’t a hassle with the Edge!

I’ve been hangin’ with a Ford Edge out here in Toronto, and it definitely feels legit for family road trips. The Escape’s cozy but Edge rocks space & performance. Definitely feels sturdier for all our gear & kiddos. Both solid but Edge edges out!

I recently moved to Toronto and had to choose between the Ford Edge and Escape for my family. Honestly, the Edge is big, roomy—perfect for road trips with the kiddos. It’s got more space, but boy, does it guzzle gas! The Escape is more eco-friendly and easier on the wallet for fuel. It’s also easier to park in tight spots in the city. In the end, I went with the Escape for daily driving and the Edge for vacation magic. What about you?

I have a Ford Edge in Calgary, been great for family trips, roomy and smooth riding. But an aunt in Toronto says her Ford Escape handles city vibes like a pro. Both are solid, but if I’ve gotta choose, Edge wins for road trips up’n’away with the fam. Escape’s great on those tight city streets tho!

I’ve been drivin’ both in Ontario and gotta say, the Ford Edge suits families, especially on long road trips. It’s roomy and comfortable for the kids. But if city living’s your thing, that Ford Escape’s got the efficiency and maneuverability. Both are solid choices, just depends on yoo lifestyle and where y’all ride most, ya know? :blue_car::dash:

I’ve driven both in Canada and gotta say, the Ford Edge is a bit more spacious for families, especially with the kids needing more room. The Escape’s more compact, which is handy in city driving but feels a little cramped on road trips. For me, the Edge’s comfort and extra space win out, especially when road tripping around Ontario. Just my two cents!

I’ve been driving both Ford Edge and Escape in Toronto, decided Escape is better for the family haul. The Edge’s roomy interior is nice, but the Escape nails practicality with its reliability and fuel efficiency. Plus, parking it in the city’s tight spots is a breeze. Fit more 'cause each seat folds flat, perfect for camping trips!

Grew up in Ontario, so when the family hiked up, we tossed around a Ford Edge vs. Escape. Edge’s space in the back is crazy good for the kids and luggage—it’s practically got its own room! Escape’s compact, but I’ve found the Edge just fits our crew better. Just my two cents, but Edge all the way!
