So I’ve been driving both the SE and LE Corollas for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s kinda tough to pick a clear winner. I mean, the SE has a sportier vibe, right? But that can make you want to put the pedal to the metal, and then your gas mileage takes a hit.
On the other hand, the LE feels like it’s made for chill driving, and I swear I get better fuel efficiency just cruising around town. Last week, I went on a road trip in the LE and got over 40 mpg. Crazy, huh?
But the SE is tempting when you wanna feel a bit more alive on the road. So, what’s your take—anyone had different experiences?
had an SE Corolla in California and I think it gets better mileage than the LE mine was a joy to drive I loved zipping around town with decent gas mileage too
I ve driven both the SE and LE around Calgary and honestly fuel efficiency feels pretty similar. SE is sportier but LE has that chill vibe. I have to say though I prefer the LE for those long drives through the Rockies. More comfy and decent mpg.
I ve driven both in Toronto and the SE feels a bit peppier but the LE has better mpg overall guess it depends on your needs.
I ve had the 2020 LE and honestly it s super reliable and comfy. Fuel mileage was decent definitely better than my old civic.
But the SE looks sportier and has some nice features. I heard it s pretty close in mileage tho. I d probably pick the LE just for that slight edge in fuel efficiency. Plus it s more practical for my commute in Toronto.
I ve driven both in Toronto and I think the LE gets better mileage especially in the city. Just feels more efficient.
SE has a sportier vibe though which I like but doesn’t help with fuel. It’s a tough choice.
I have an LE Corolla and honestly its great on gas I drive it around Seattle and it rarely needs filling up
The SE does look sporty though but I ve heard it sacrifices some fuel efficiency for that style
I ve driven both the SE and LE Corolla around here in Michigan and honestly the LE seems to edge out in fuel efficiency a bit. I have a friend who swears by the SE for performance though. It’s a tough choice depending on what you want.
Honestly I have a 2020 Corolla LE and it’s great on gas around here in Michigan. I notice the SE might be a bit sportier but I ve heard the LE takes the lead in fuel efficiency. Makes my daily commute feel less painful with all that driving.
There’s just something about those highway miles adding up when you’re driving an LE you know.
I’ve driven both the SE and LE Corollas and honestly fuel efficiency feels pretty similar. I was in Toronto last summer and the SE did great on the highway. I have heard some folks say the LE is more tuned for economy but i wasn’t really feeling that difference.
Overall both are good choices for saving on gas which is nice nowadays.
Ive been driving a Corolla LE in California and its pretty fuel efficient honestly. I get about 35 mpg which is fantastic for the traffic we deal with.
Honestly though I’ve heard that the SE has slightly better efficiency due to its lighter frame or something. But I think the LE has a comfier ride with all the features.
Both are solid choices for saving on gas.
I had a 2020 Corolla SE and honestly it felt fun to drive but my buddy’s LE was so much more efficient on fuel somehow. It surprised me how little he spent on gas in Canada.
I ve heard the LE’s eco mode makes a difference. Crazy how much those small things impact overall mileage when you’re commuting every day.
I’ve noticed my LE Corolla gets great mileage around town in Toronto but the SE feels peppier on the highway. Fuel efficiency varies by driving style I guess. Not too much difference though.
From my experience I’ve found the LE version is better for fuel efficiency during my drives around Vancouver It’s got a smoother engine which seems to sip fuel nicely compared to the SE more sporty but thirstier overall.
