What type of brake fluid does a Ford Focus require?

hey so i just checked my ford focus and it needs brake fluid. normally i use the one with ATF-Dex III on it. noticed a difference after switching. anyone else use this? and i heard you can use regular brake fluid but i’m not sure if its a good idea.

does your focus use the same or different fluid? did you switch brands and notice a difference?
