What tools do I need for front lower lateral links tesla model y?
so the other day I decided to tackle my Tesla Model Y’s front lower lateral links because, you know, that dreaded clunking sound was driving me insane. I thought it was gonna be easy peasy, but let me tell you, I felt like a fish outta water. But I got a little too excited and forgot half my tools at home.
you def need a jack and jack stands, that’s a must. And some socket wrenches are super helpful too. I ended up using a 17mm socket, but somehow I thought I needed a 21mm. Why do I always doubt myself like that?
also, some torque wrenches to make sure everything’s tight afterwards. have you ever tried to hand-tighten these things? what a mess. so what tools did you guys use?
