if your toyota tacoma check engine light comes on and the trac light goes out, it’s probably a traction control issue. happened to me last month. first thing i did was check the tire pressure. low pressure can sometimes trigger it, right? make sure all tires are properly inflated. and if that doesn’t work, try resetting the system. i just turned off the ignition, waited like 15 minutes, then turned it back on. sometimes that clears it up. maybe a sensor issue? it could be the abs sensor or something else. if it keeps happening, i’d take it to a mechanic to get a diagnostic. they can tell exactly what’s wrong. btw, don’t ignore it too long it could be something serious. what did you do when yours came on?
