What size tires should I use on my lifted 8791 f150?

so when I first lifted my 8791 f150, I was super pumped. but then I realized, crap, I gotta figure out tires now. I ended up slapping on some 35s, thinking they’d look cool. but man, the way it handled was like trying to steer a ship. like, do I need a captain’s hat now or what?

I mean, the lift looked sick, but I felt like I was bouncin’ around on a trampoline. And then my buddy said I should’ve gone with 33s instead. guess I should’ve asked for help sooner.

what size do you guys run? and how’s the ride feel? I’m just tryna find that sweet spot where it looks dope but still drives nice. any tips before I start playing tire roulette again?

I ve had my lifted 89 f150 up in the Rockies and trust me bigger tires make all the difference. I ran 35s for better clearance and grip on those rugged trails. But be careful too much size can cause issues with your steering.

I ve got 35s on my lifted 2000 F150 and it’s just right for the trails here in Colorado. Love the grip feels like I could climb a mountain.

Honestly I would say the sweet spot is 33s to 37s depending on the lift but don’t go too big unless you wanna trim some fenders.

I ve got a lifted F150 too and I found that 33s fit perfectly without rubbing. I live near the Rockies and need all the grip I can get on those trails. My buddy went with 35s and he’s always dealing with clearance issues. I think it really depends on what you plan to do with your truck honestly.

I just love the way it looks with bigger tires though feels like a beast on the road.

I used 33’s on my lifted 90s F150 out in Colorado and it was perfect for those mountain trails.

I think many people miss out on bigger tires thinking they’ll lose speed but honestly its all about how you tune your rig.

I ve seen some go for 35’s which looks sick too but it can throw your speedometer off a bit.

Depends on what you want to do with it honestly.

I ve got a lifted F150 too in the Rockies and went with 35s for the trails I hit. It looks boss and handles well. I’ve seen folks rock 33s but they just look tiny up there. Depends on how crazy you wanna get I guess.
