What is the typical cost of hond civic 2012 key replacement?
So, I lost my keys the other day, and I was like, “great, just what I needed.” After searching the whole house and finding nothing, I figured a replacement was the only way. I thought maybe it’d be like 50 bucks, but boy was I wrong.
I went to the dealer, and they were like, “That’ll be $150 to $200." What? I nearly fell off my chair. But then again, I guess I don’t want to be locked out every time I misplace my keys. Has anyone else gone through this?
I heard people talking about getting them copied too. I wonder if that’s cheaper or just a risky move, you know? Anyway, just curious what others have paid for this stuff.
