so i got a 2017 jeep wrangler and been wondering about the gas mileage u know? got around 20-22 in the city and like 24-26 highway. not bad for a suv but i think it depends on how much you drive around town or hit the highway. and sometimes it feels a bit less efficient when carrying stuff or towing like when i took my bike to the mountains. u ever notice that? it’s like the more weight it has the more it guzzles right? got buddies with similar jeeps and they say it’s about the same. anyone else have any different mileage? didn’t expect that much variation like proves guys mileage can be really different depending on how you drive. like speed and driving style have a lot to do with it. how’s your jeep doing??
I’ve got a 2017 Jeep Wrangler and live in Colorado. It’s amazing off-road, but when it comes to gas mileage, it’s not winning any races! I’ve averaged around 18-20 mpg in the city, and around 22 mpg on the highway – depends on how hard I’ve been driving, ya know? With engine size, it’s to be expected, but winter months here actually knock it down a few more. Thinking about a hybrid someday!
I lived in Denver, CO, and had a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. I has seen gas mileage switch between 15-20 MPG, depending on how I drove. Hikein’ the mountains or just city streets - both affect it. Always a trade-off with the Wrangler’s rugged style and gas consumption. Lotta love for its off-roading though!
I used to own a 2017 Jeep Wrangler up in Colorado. Not the best gas mileage, tho, maybe 20-22 mpg on-road. But man, for off-roading, you won’t find anything better! City driving was brutal on the gas, but worth it for every adventure. Definitely a unique ride!
Growing up in Texas, I’ve had plenty of boxin’ fun with my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Its gas mileage, around 17-20 mpg depending on driving style, ain’t stellar but totally worth the trade-off for its rugged charm. I always took the highway for a decent burst up to 21 mpg. Once hit a construction site—oof, dropped fast! Nothing beats the thrill of open-road adventure though.
I gotta say, back in 2017 I bought a Jeep Wrangler here in Calgary, Canada. The gas mileage? Whew, not what you’d call impressive but remember, it’s a Wrangler! Out in the mountains, cruising on twisty roads, it was all worth it. I’ve recorded about 16-20 mpg city and a shade over 20 on highways. Sure, it’s thirsty, but that 4x4 thrill it gives you is worth every drop. Plus, you’re buying some serious off-road action!
I’ve had my '17 Wrangler since 2018, driving through the Rockies here in Colorado. Gas mileage’s not stellar, especially in 4-wheel but, hey, it’s a Jeep. City around 17 mpg, highway like 23. Worth it for the thrills on those trails, yah? pretty decent for what it is!
Been driving my 2017 Jeep Wrangler across the Rockies here in Colorado. I’ve seen it hit like 15 mpg city and around 21 on the highway. Not too bad for something so rugged!
In my experience, living right in Toronto, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler’s gas mileage isn’t exactly stellar. I’ve averaged around 20 city and 25 highway MPG, which ain’t too shabby considering its off-road prowess. Though some folks say it’s thirsty, personally I’ve found it manageable if you’re nitpicking your drives n maybe change up the tire pressure for a bit o’ extra efficiency. Real heads will know, it’s all about what you need from your ride – fun over frugality!
I’ve cruised a couple of times through Virginia with my ‘17 Jeep Wrangler, and I’ll tell ya, the gas mileage was decent but not like, uh, friggin’ fantastic. About 18 mpg on the highway, I’ve been guessin’. City driving was a whole ‘nother story! Does make you think about stickin’ to the roads.
I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler, living in sunny Cali. Got about 17 mpg city & 22 highway. Not bad for such a beast, ya know? Perfect for my weekend adventures in the Sierra Nevada mountains! Back home, folks often underestimate these numbers, but they seem solid for the off-road lifestyle!
I’ve had a 2017 Jeep Wrangler for a while now, driving it all around the Pacific Northwest. It’s solid as a rock for adventures, but the gas mileage isn’t exactly stellar, averaging like 18-20 mpg in the city. Not terrible, but definitely not what I’d call fuel-efficient for daily drives. Love the ruggedness, but it’s a tank, especially with a full-on cargo load. Pretty cool, I mean, it’s a Jeep.
I’ve owned a 2017 Jeep Wrangler out in Texas. City driving, it’s around 20 mpg, highway’s closer to 25, I think. Sure, dirt roads kill mileage, but 4WD adventure beats gas woes anytime! You get what you pay for with Jeep.
I’ve been cruisin’ my 2017 Jeep Wrangler round Seattle, and the ride’s decent—gets me about 20 mpg in the city. Rough on highways, though. But hey, I’ve gotta that Wrangler vibe!
I’ve driven a 2017 Jeep Wrangler here in Texas, and the gas mileage was average. About 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, pretty much. Definitely feels like it’s guzzling more on those twisty mountain roads, you know? Still, I’d say it’s better than expected for such a rugged beast. Sup swapping tips to bump those numbers? Always lookin’ to stretch that tank!
I’ve had a '17 Jeep Wrangler in Texas, and let me tell ya, gas mileage ain’t the best. I get like 17 mpg city and around 22 on the highway. It’s not exactly a stingy sipsper but hey, I just love that off-road flex. Definitely more into power than efficiency, but hey, gotta expect it with all that beefy cool! I had one pal bragging his got up to 24 mpg highway but that’s like a unicorn. Totally depends on how you ride and where in the states you stuck.
I remember bumbling up to the gas station in Portland, Oregon, with my '17 Jeep Wrangler – popping in a good $50 fill, some days more. It wasn’t the best gas guzzler but hey, that’s Wranglers for ya! Living out in the States, you’ve gotta expect it. I’ve managed to squeeze about 17 mpg city and 23 on the highway. Not too shabby, considering all the rock crawling we do. Love having the freedom though, can’t beat it!
I’ve been driving my '17 Jeep Wrangler in the wilds of Michigan, and gas mileage’s a bit of a head-scratcher. Hauling up snowy hills makes it guzzle more, but on flat roads, it’s better. I’ve seen it average like 17-19 mpg around town and hitting 22 mpg highway. Don’t mind the thirsty side if you can rock the rugged life! Some folks complain, but it’s worth it for the ride.
