So like, I’ve been driving my 2016 Toyota Tacoma for a while now, and fuel efficiency is kinda what gets me thinking. On the highway, it usually gets around 23-25 miles per gallon, but in the city, it drops to like 16-19, maybe even less if you know what I mean. Pretty average for a truck, right?
But I heard some people get better mileage, and it makes me wonder if maybe mine’s just a bit old or something. My buddy has a newer Tacoma and says he’s getting a bit more. I mean, does tire pressure or extra stuff in the trunk make that much of a difference?
And like, I usually don’t highway drive much cause I’m always headed into the city or stuck in traffic. But, curious if anyone else has tricks or tips to squeeze out more gas miles. Like, anyone doing good with theirs? Chat soon
I’ve owned a 2016 Toyota Tacoma here in Colorado, and the fuel efficiency is solid—got like 22 mpg on a mix of highways and backroads. It’s pretty decent for a pickup, especially if you do a lot of off-roading 'round here. Not the best for mileage but it’s got that old-school charm and reliability, you know?
I’ve had a 2016 Tacoma in Portland, Oregon. Surprisingly fuel-efficient for its size – gets me about 20 city and 23 highway. Great for road trips with the fam. Been a game changer for weekend getaways, no complaints on gas usage! Always beats my old pickup on MPG.
I’ve been drivin’ my ‘16 Tacoma here in Canada for a couple years now, and I gotta say, snow or shine, it’s been truckin’ on decent fuel. I get maybe around 21 mpg city and a bit more on the highway. Not exactly a Prius, but considering it’s hauling gear, it ain’t too shabby. My buddy, though, gets closer to 23. Seriously depends on the drive and how full the bed is. All good truckin’ vibes!
Driving my 2016 Toyota Tacoma in Michigan, I’ve noticed decent fuel efficiency, especially considering it’s a truck! It’s been hitting around 20 mpg in mixed driving, which is fair for us Canucks and Yanks who need a solid ride for both the city and the countryside. The mileage ain’t breaking records but is reliable, and hey, it’s a truck, right? Plains or urban, it handles just fine without guzzling too much. I’ve gotta say, it’s pretty solid.
I’ve been drivin’ my 2016 Toyota Tacoma in Cali for a couple years now. You’d think I’d use a ton of gas, but it’s surprisin’ how fuel efficient it is, specially city drivin’. Around 20 mpg, I’d say. Definitely a champ for handling both city and off-road. It’s solid as a rock and I know me and mine love it. You? Noticed the same?
Driving my '16 Toyota Tacoma through Colorado, never seen it guzzle gas like that. I’ve clocked nearly 20 mpg, but city driving? Not so much! Still, gotta love that beast on rough trails. Efficient enough for me, but you gotta try it yourself!
I’ve been driving my 2016 Toyota Tacoma around Southern California, and the fuel efficiency’s decent for a truck—getting about 21 mpg in the city. It’s solid for towing and hauling stuff. Noticed some fluctuations, but overall super reliable. Not bad at all for a full-size pickup, especially with highways!
Back in 2016, I was cruising ‘round Colorado in my Tacoma and noticed decent mpg, especially for the trippin’ I do around mountains and rural roads. It’s a solid performer on open paths. Fuel efficiency is decent, not walloping great, but for a truck in its class, pretty decent—got me through without always bugging the gas station. A reliable ride, I’ve got to say!
I’ve been havin’ a blast with my '16 Tacoma in Alberta! Sure, it’s not the best gas sipper around, but it’s the trade-off for solid towing and off-road vibes. I’ve clocked it with about 16 mpg 'round town, up to 22 on the highway. Ain’t nothing perfect, but for its age, it holds up decent considering its size and beef. I’ve found it kinda charming, to be honest!
I’ve got a 2016 Toyota Tacoma and it’s been real solid on fuel efficiency around Minnesota. I have been averaging about 23 mpg around town and 29 on the highway, just how it’s supposed to be. Mighty decent for a truck that size, honestly! Plus, it’s got that classic rugged vibe without hurting the wallet too much. I ve took it on long hauls, and it holds up really well!
I´ve driven my 2016 Toyota Tacoma here in Canada and it never fails to impress me with its fuel efficiency. It’s like gettin some smooth rides without hurting my wallet! Wish every truck was this econo.
I’ve had a 2016 Toyota Tacoma in northern Canada, and man, that thing eats gas like no other, but it’s legit tough as nails! I traded in mileage for its beastly power and off-road capabilities. Living in rugged terrain, the fuel efficiency wasn’t my top priority. Still, I’ve heard people get around 21-23 MPG on highways. Not bad for a tough truck that pulls like a champ, but it’s not winning any sippity-cup races. I’ve seen better mileage on city roads tho.
