What is the ect location on a 2000 ford f150 46l?

So, if you’re looking for the ect location on a 2000 F150 with a 4.6L, it’s kinda tricky. It’s usually hiding near the passenger side, like it’s playing hide and seek. I remember when I was looking for mine, I thought I was gonna lose my mind.

But once I found it, I felt like a genius. You know how it is, right? Like when you finally find your car keys after searching everywhere. Did you ever have that feeling?

And just a heads up, it’s kinda tight in there, so make sure you’ve got the right tools. You might even end up in some weird position trying to reach it. It’s all part of the fun, I guess.

I have a 2000 F150 4.6L and finding the ECT location was like a scavenger hunt. It’s tucked behind the intake manifold which is fun to reach. Every time I crawl into the engine bay I wonder why I don’t just become a mechanic.

You gotta love those old trucks though they have character.

I remember searching for my ECT location on my old F150 in the Midwest. Crazy spot underneath the intake manifold. Took forever to find it but got it done.

I remember wrenchin on my buddy’s 2000 F150 in a driveway in Ohio. The ECT is right by the engine block front side kinda near the intake. Had to crawl under the hood for that one. It’s not the most fun place to get your hands dirty let me tell ya.

I found the ect on my 2000 F150 4.6L near the thermostat housing it was a pain to get to but worth it.

Took me ages in my driveway in Ontario. Glad I figured it out.

I remember working on my buddy’s 2000 F150 down in Texas. The ECT sensor location was tricky. If I recall right it’s on the passenger side towards the back of the engine near the intake manifold. Gotta be careful with those wires though they can get brittle.

I’ve seen some folks struggle with it. Just takes patience and a good light.

I’ve worked on a 2000 F150 and the ECT location always confused me at first. It’s usually tucked near the engine on the driver’s side. I remember crawling under the hood on a rainy day in Ontario thinking I wouldn’t find it.

Funny how you discover these things when you’re knee-deep in grease. Just a heads up definitely not a fun job.
