What is the cost for a 2022 toyota camry skid plate replacement oem?

so, I was driving home from work a couple weeks ago and hit this giant pothole. i swear my heart sank. heard this loud thud, and i was like “great, what now?” I get out to check, and guess what? my skid plate is all messed up.

I looked into gettin a replacement, and man, it ain’t cheap. So, I googled OEM parts, and the price is around $300 just for the part. And then you gotta pay for labor, which could be another $100-200. But that’s if you take it to a shop.

Has anyone done this on their own? I was thinking maybe I could just duct tape it for now, but I dunno if that’s a good idea. Anyone else had a similar issue? What did you do?

I had to replace my skid plate last year in Texas and it was around 350 bucks for OEM. Kinda painful but worth it for peace of mind you know. I’ve seen cheaper aftermarkets but who knows.

Skid plates aren’t usually that flashy but if you do any off-roading it’s good to have one.

So I had to replace my Camry’s skid plate last summer and it wasn’t cheap. I live in Seattle and found out the OEM part was about 300 bucks with labor splurging the total to around 500. Kinda tricky driving around here with those potholes. Wish it would last longer.

last summer I had to replace my skid plate on a 2022 camry here in Texas I ve seen it go for around 250 bucks but labor might hike it up another 100 or so not too crazy but definitely a hassle in the end

I’ve been looking into this since my buddy’s Camry got into some rough terrain near Denver. He had to replace his skid plate and it ended up costing him nearly 300 bucks for the OEM part.

Seems like a bummer for what it is but I guess its better than risking damage to the underside. After that experience I’m seriously considering getting one for my own car.
