So I got these new wiper blades for my 2017 Ford Explorer, right? I was like, what size should I get? When I checked online, some places said 26" and 23" for the front and back. I went for the 26" for the front because it wiped better than the old one. And the 23" for the back worked fine too. But I found these sizes kinda different from other Explorers I’ve seen. Maybe it’s model year specific? I thought it’d be weird if I got the wrong size but they fit just right.
Anyone else have tips on fitting em? I know you never know these things till you try em out. And I kinda wonder if they’re universal or not? My buddy tried em on a different model and said they kinda fit but not perfectly. Any thoughts?
Back in ‘17, I was cruisin’ down Route 66 in my Mustang and ended up talking shop with a guy in line at the tire shop. He had this 2017 Ford Explorer, and we were both baffled at first. closed me’ eyes, he told me straight, “You need a 26” blade. Surprised? Me too! But guess what, it fit perfect. If you’re in the USA or Canada, double-check those measurements, folks! You don’t wanna splatter all over, right? Trust me!
I’ve got this 17’ Ford Explorer up in Toronto, and getting the right wiper blades has been a bit of an adventure, ya know? I had some silly ones on there that left streaks like yesterday’s spilled coffee. Sounded real simple, but the manual’s like fiction! Ended up with 24" for the front and 20" for the back after some hustle at the auto shop. No more puddle sights, swear.
Back in Texas, I recently replaced my 2017 Ford Explorer’s wiper blades. I’ve got Aero GrilleFast Blade type H for the cowl group, and they fit perfect. Always double-check the directions though; it’s key! Saw mixed reviews but they’re workin’ great for me. Just make sure you measure twice, apply once!

I’ve been driving my '17 Ford Explorer here in Toronto, and man, those wiper blades just kept failing on me. Ended up getting the exact size from a local shop – 27 inches for the back, 22 for the front. Made a world of difference! Had to switch dealers a couple times before getting the right info. It’s crazy how they charge you for the wrong parts till someone tells you otherwise. Lesson learned!
