What is the correct tire size for a 04 Toyota Sienna?

Alright, so I recently ran into the whole tire size thing for my 04 Toyota Sienna. I was wondering if anyone’s dealt with this before? I found different numbers out there, and it got me confused. You gotta know where to start, right? Seems like it should be simple, but it’s a bit of a puzzle.

I checked the owner’s manual and saw something like 215/60R16. The folks at the tire shop suggested a few different sizes too. So I went with the original size when I replaced mine last year. My ride felt pretty smooth afterwards, but should that really matter?

And then there’s eBay — tonnes of people selling random sizes, saying they fit, claiming one size fits all which sounds kinda fishy, doesn’t it? I remember someone’s review said they had issues with a non-standard size but then switched back to the original one. Was that because of more skilled driving or just a bad tire choice?

Anyway, if anyone’s swapped tire sizes, let me know! I’m curious if anyone else thinks the smaller or larger ones do something special. Just looking for a buddy’s advice. thanks!

I’ve had an '04 Toyota Sienna myself, and the tire size always tripped me up! Down in Texas, I was burnt out every time I went to swap 'em. Ended up on 235/75R16 - they fit just right. Some folks swear by a different size, but I’ve never had better handling and comf. Weather changes and such but these are kings on the road. Def worth sticking to the numbers I used!

I’ve gotta say, replacing tires on my 04 Sienna was a real headache. Living in Toronto, I had no clue what the right size was. Ended up calling mate who works at the shop—turns out it was 215/65R16. Always check twice to avoid a fuss, especially when the weather’s sketchy!

I remember living back in Canada, having an old '04 Toyota Sienna. The ‘correct’ tire size for that baby is 215/65R16.
