hey so i got a nissan altima and ive been trying different oils to see what works best. originally i started with full synthetic oil cuz i heard its good for engines. but then i switched to a 10w30 conventional oil and it seemed fine too. not sure if all this matters, maybe not. i read somewhere that synthetic is supposed to last longer and make the engine run smoother.
and my buddy swears by his synthetic blend oil, says it saves him a few bucks and still keeps his car running well. so here’s the thing, does it really make much of a diff? like if my engine’s running good, should i even bother changing oils unless i need to?
also, what’s everyone else using? any good experiences or bad ones to share?
