Alright so I’ve been on the hunt for the best car battery for my Hyundai Santa Fe. I went with the Duracell Platinum EV700, and it’s been solid so far. Last one lasted like three years before it started acting up. This one seems to be holding up well even with the crazy Florida summers. But don’t take my word for it, everyone’s climate’s different.
A buddy of mine uses Optima YellowTop, and he swears by it. He says it gives more power and lasts longer, but I haven’t tried it. Has anyone else tried these? I’m curious about what you all think about these batteries.
And here’s a funny thing, I got a deal on another brand just because the salesperson knew my sister’s name. Kinda funny how we stick to what’s comfortable. What do you all think plays a bigger role, the brand or the sales pitch?
I’ve been living in Toronto, got this Hyundai Santa Fe for years. Went for the Optima RedTop, great power and lasts long. Try it! If you’re in the US, Amazon got it easy. Local shops had issues. Just my 2 cents!
