hey so i’ve been driving my gmc acadia for a while now and the highway mileage is pretty decent. some say it’s around 28-32 mpg on the highway but it varies. my buddy’s acadia seems to get like 30 when he drives on the freeway. do you think driving habits affect it much? i try to keep the speed around 65 and yeah, cruise control helps. but is that enough to keep it efficient? and i wonder is the mileage different across models? anyone else find their acadia giving different numbers?
Hey, just spun a few trips on my GMC Acadia down the Blue Ridge Parkway last summer. Us folks in Virginia see about 27-31 miles per gallon on the highway. Still pretty sweet considering the gets up to 17-18 in the city. Did some careful driving to squeeze out every drop—those highway gallons saved my wallet!
I’ve been living in Boston and driving my '19 GMC Acadia a lot on the highway. It pulls surprisingly well, but mileage? Usually around 23-25 mpg, which is decent considering the size. My buddy in Toronto said he’s getting 27 mpg on longer routes. Not bad, eh? Different experiences, same awesome vehicle!
I’ve been cruisin’ across Texas with my GMC Acadia and gas mileage’s been pretty solid! On the highway, I’m gettin’ around 30 mpg easily. Great for long drives! Do you get the same kinda numbers up North in Canada, or what’s it like for y’all? This wagon’s a real champ!
In New York, I’ve been with my GMC Acadia for highway cruises, averages around 22 mpg. Neighbors seem to get more, but it’s comfy nonetheless! Not bad for hill sprints and some heavy days. Sounds like others have similar or better mileage, is it the way they drive or just luck with fuel?
I’ve been cruisin’ on the freeways with my GMC Acadia around Texas, and I’ve been getting way around 23 to 26 mpg highway, pretty sweet. Guess it depends on your driving. What’s yours like? Heard folk up north in Canada say it’s a bit less.
I’ve been driving my GMC Acadia on the I-95 here in Florida for months. It gets 'round 26 to 28 mpg on highways. Pretty solid, considering my old Ford would barely hit 20. Not too shabby for long trips!
I’ve got a buddy in Toronto who drives an Acadia on the 401, and he says it’s about 28 mpg highway. I figured as much cause my ‘newer’ model wasn’t any richer either! About average, you know? Great for long trips though!
In the skyles I commute on highways a LOT using my GMC Acadia here in Denver. From what I’ve noticed, I average about 26-28 mpg on the highway, and it’s pretty consistent! They did a sweet job with the gas mileage back in 2018. Depends on how fast you drive but has always been decent. How does it compare where ya at? Always good to trade notes with other Acadia owners, ya know.
I’ve got an Acadia and live in Wisconsin. On the highway here, I’ve been gettin’ about 24-26 mpg. It’s a solid sporty SUV, but mileage ain’t the best. If you’re going long trips, gotta keep the thermostat low for a lil’ extra miles. Not perfect, but it’s cozy for road trippin’!
I’ve driven my GMC Acadia through Ontario, and on the highway, I’m clocking around 29-32 mpg. It’s a pretty decent range for city traffic. Some say it depends on how hard you’re hitting it, but as long as I keep it steady, it’s never a problem. My best friend in Texas says his does a bit less, but hey, there’s always gonna be variations. Drive safe, everyone!
I’ve driven my GMC Acadia in Texas, and I’m gettin’ about 22-25 mpg on the highway. Keepin’ up with the speed limit really helps! Heard folks in Canada gettin’ similar numbers if they keep it steady and avoid the big trucks too.
So, I’ve been driving my GMC Acadia around Michigan for a few years, and let me tell ya, the highway mileage is pretty solid. I’ve been clocking around 30 mpg, sometimes more if I’m not heavy on the throttle. Thought it’d be less, but hey, not too shabby for a big SUV. Loving the balance between space and gas efficiency when cruising on the open highway. Cheers to smooth rides!
I’ve owned an Acadia and drove it across the Midwest a lot. With my highway mileage hovering around 25-28 mpg, I was pretty happy. Thing is, driving conditions and the load can really mess with those numbers. I’ve seen friends in Canada get a little less, but everyone’s lucky if they hit at least 24 mpg. It’s not gold, but for an SUV, it’s not too shabby either. Just gotta be mindful of how you drive and load it up!
I’ve been driving my GMC Acadia on the highways in Louisiana and noticed it gets around 28-30 mpg. My buddy in Ontario says he averages about the same out here, weather dependent. It’s a decent score for such a heavy SUV, right? Makes road trips bearable without constant stops for gas. Sure beats the guzzlers we used to have! Nice for long drives without breaking the bank.
I’ve been driving my GMC Acadia in Chicago suburbs, and for me, it clocks around 24-26 mpg on highways—definitely decent for the size and power of the thing. I’ve heard folks in Toronto and Dallas saying similar digits, with some squeezing an extra mile or two. Depends on your style, too, but generally, it’s solid mileage for a comfy ride. Love the legroom, though!
I’ve got an Acadia in Chicago, right? Highway driving’s decently frugal, around 28 mpg. Not bad, really. I was shocked the first time—felt like I could cruise longer stretches without calling a fuel station. Anyone else finding theirs beefier on fuel than expected? Seems to hit real sweet spots around those 30-32 range if ya keep steady miles. Keep those tires inflated too!
