so like ive been driving my 2014 chevy cruze for a bit now nd ive noticed the mileage is pretty decent man. i usually get like 30mpg around town and sometimes hit 40 on the highway when i mash the gas a bit less. but does it ever feel like your car is gobbling up gas more than it should? like i had this one time my cruze ate up gas super fast and idk if i was just imagining it or something else was up.
anyone else getting similar numbers? i heard people talking about how their cruze gets even better mpg than mine but maybe they have a lighter foot on the gas or? i’m just curious, how’s your cruze holding up? i bet theres some tricks to squeeze out more mileage yeah. also, i think mine is a bit more thirsty after i hit 70k miles. anyone notice something like that with theirs?

I’ve had a 2014 Chevy Cruze here in Detroit and it’s been solid. Usually gets around 30 MPG on the highway and about 25-27 in the city. It’s not the best, but for a compact, I’m not complainin’. Friends in Toronto say they’re just as good, if not a bit better due to smooth roads. Not bad for a frugal ride - and who doesn’t love saving at the pump?

I’ve got a '14 Chevy Cruze here in sunny CA—usually pulls a solid 30 mpg combined, but highway cruising can edge up to 37 on my quick trips out to Vegas. My buddy’s Cruze struggles to hit 28 at all, madness! Gotta love the little commute chariot.

It’s reliable for someone just wanting a cost-effective ride without sacrifices.
I’ve owned a 2014 Chevy Cruze since 2016, driving it mainly in sunny California. It’s hovered around 30-35 mpg for city driving, but when I take it out on the highway, it shoots up to near 40 mpg. Fuel efficiency’s pure killer techie in a compact car!
Definitely beats my old beater.
Had a ‘14 Chevy Cruze for a bit here in Toronto, and I’ve gotta say, the fuel mileage was pretty decent. I was vibin’ with around 30 MPG on city roads—definitely wasn’t complainin’. On the highway, I’ve knocked it up to 40 MPG! Friends mentioned similar numbers even in the States, so sound mileage can’t be that different across this side of the border. Really dependin’ on your travel style tho.
