What are the common issues with Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6?

So, I’ve had a Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6 for a bit now. Noticed some common issues. Engine knocking ain’t fun, anyone else? ECU problems can be a pain, had it replaced once. Fuel pump acting up too, expensive to fix. Suspension feels off sometimes. And the AC, honestly, it’s hit or miss. Also, electrical glitches, like the radio just dies. Anyone fixed these or still struggling? Mine’s alright, but yeah, these things bug me. Hope y’all find some fixes!

I’ve driven my Pajero '15 in Canada and the 3.0 V6’s run a bit rough. Noticed oil consumption’s high and weird knocking sounds in the engine bay. Love the beast, but wish the classics were a bit more reliable. Anyone else, dude? Cocked an eyebrow at their tune-ups too.

I’ve got a Mitsubishi Pajero in Canada & the 3.0 V6’s just eats fuel like nobody’s business. Had a rough time with the transmission too—it’s kaput more often than I’d like! Laughs over a mechanical marvel! Sound off if you’ve had similar runs or tips, peeps!

Living in Canada with my '98 Pajero, I’ve run into some quirks. The V6 engine tends to have fuel pump issues—literally turned into a fire hazard once. Had to replace water pump thrice due to sensor glitches, super annoying! Suspension fix also needed 'cause rattles drove me nuts. But still, love the ruggedness—it’s a beast on the trails.

I’ve got a Pajero 3.0 V6 here in Canada, and it’s been a real pain at times. Had issues with the EVAP system and the annoying rattling under the hood. Water pump going kaput didn’t help either. Anyone else having this trouble? Wish it was more reliable!

I’ve had my Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6 in Dallas and it’s had its ups and downs. Constant issues with the AC unit and the engine always running a bit rough. Battery problems too. Some fixes are costly, but the ride’s worth it on the rough roads. Anyone else with similar troubles? Love the strength, though.

I’ve got a '97 Pajero in Texas, and the V6’s great but the fuel pump gives me headaches – leaks like crazy. Also, I’ve heard the timing belt’s a pain. The suspension can be iffy after rough roads. Anyone else run into this? Or found fixes?

I’ve had issues with the Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6 in the Rockies. The fuel consumption’s through the roof, and I’ve had a few scares with the turbo acting up. It’s a beast, but kind of a money pit. Anyone else find it eats a lot of gas? Pretty common around here.

I’ve got a 2003 Pajero, had it for ages. Been running around Texas, not without hitches—fuel pump’s been fickle and the A/C quits on me. Engine’s a workhorse tho, love it. Others feel the same?

I’ve owned a Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6 in Canada, and the suspension acts up often after hitting bump in mountain roads. Engine quirks can be a pain too, especially after heavy use.

I’ve had a Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6 here in Canada, and it’s all about those CV joints. They give out often causing all sorts of noise and trouble. Plus, overheating is a real pain too; heaters and AC acting up too. Just deals with, unlike anything else I’ve owned.

I’ve had my Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 V6 in Canada for a couple of years now, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. Transmission issues really anoy me, keeps needing repairs. The engine starts acing in cold weather though. Some might say it’s reliable, but not for me. Could use an upgrade for sure, just not sure if it’s worth the hassle!

I’ve got a '99 Pajero in Texas and it’s been decent overall. Had issues with the a/c compressor and the fuel pump acting up. My buddy also mentioned his tranny gave him hell, but off-roading’s an experience either way!

Driving my '98 Pajero in Canada, I had issues with the V6 cooling system—constantly overheated. The engine light went on more than it off. Also, common brake wear like everyone says; I’ve replaced them twice in 3 years. Suspension ain’t the best on rough terrain either. Y’all wouldn’t be wrong if you researched these problems before buying. Just a heads-up! It’s a tough machine otherwise, though.

I’ve got experience with a '97 Pajero in Canada, and man, the fuel pump is a pain—habitually trips out after a few miles. Also, those head gaskets—brutal. I’ve heard it’s an old issue; keeps me on edge every time I hit the gas pedal. Guess it’s part of the 'ol Mitsubishi charm, right? Tough but you love it.
