so i’ve been dealing with my 2014 gmc acadia sle 1 for a while now and wanted to share some of the things i’ve noticed
first off, the brakes have been kinda sketchy sounds like grinding noise every once in a while too much money to spend on replacing brake pads. anyone else had this issue?
then there’s the engine light coming on randomly. i took it to the shop and they said it’s just the gmc guardian system acting up. sometimes it works, sometimes not. don’t know if it’s really just that but it’s frustrating
and let’s not forget the air conditioning. it works but doesn’t cool down the car real quick. maybe i’m just expecting too much but who wants to sit in a hot car?? is it just me?
so yeah, those are the main things. i haven’t had any big issues but little annoyances here and there. any tips on dealing with these or similar problems??
I’ve had my 2014 GMC Acadia SLE in Texas for a couple years now, and man, the engine light comes on like its doing a disco. Been headin’ to the mechanic a lot for the transmission fluid leak. Plus, the AC acts all finicky when it’s super hot. Not the worst ride, but a few quirks that can be a pain. Heard similar from others around, huh?
I’ve had issues with the transmission on my 2014 GMC Acadia SLE, living in northern Texas—nasty wind noise too. Battery goes out often; my buddy had AC issues too. Nothing major, but annoying quirks, ya know?
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1 here in Canada, and boy, I’ve had my fair share of issues. The transmission’s been finicky, shifting hard sometimes, plus the AC decided to have a mind of its own last summer. Dealer fixes helped a bit though, but let’s just say it’s not all smooth cruising! I’ve heard others complain about suspension noises too. Anyone dealt with this?
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia Sle 1 in Calgary. Noticed headlight issues & the touchscreen acting up sometimes, especially under cold. Battery dying faster than expected too. Anyone else? Chill.
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia SLE in Colorado, and the AC’s always been iffy. Sometimes it blows hot, then it’s like an icicle factory! Battery issues pop up too—dayum! At least the ride’s smooth. But, you’re paying a pretty penny for repairs, especially if there’s rust. Might wanna keep an eye out for that! Do you guys experience the same issues, or is it all good?
I’ve had a few probs with my 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1 here in Missoula, MT. The transmission sometimes acts up, especially when accelerating. Also, the infotainment system can be a real pain to figure out. But hey, overall, it handles great and gets decent mileage. Every car’s got its quirks, right?
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1 here in Ontario, and it’s been a wild ride. Noticed some suspension issues, rattling a bit on bumpy roads – total party vibe, not a good one. Plus, the infotainment system acts up, keeps freezing. Love the car for long drives though, just need to keep an eye on those quirks. Anyone else dealing with these or got fixes?
I’ve had issues with the 2014 GMC Acadia SLE around Chicago, mostly with the AC acting up in those crazy hot summers. Steering wheel can be finicky, ugh. Belt and brake noise sometimes grunt, jamming up the vibe on road trips. It’s chill otherwise, just need some PATIENCE. Did a buddy mention oil leak too? Happens a lot here.
I’ve had this 2014 GMC Acadia SLE for years in Chicago, and the transmission can be a real pain. Also, the engine light pops on like it’s going out of style! Heard similar gripes in Canada too. Weirdly enough, these issues aren’t all that uncommon. Dealerships better stay sharp!
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia SLE in Michigan & it’s been a ride! Had a couple hiccups with the transmission—felt like it was having mood swings. The AC gave up on me last summer, made me sweat buckets!! People also chat about bushings needing an upgrade. But overall, not too shabby for the journey!
I’ve had my fair share of issues with my 2014 GMC Acadia SLE. Frustrating engine trouble in the Houston heat—seemed like overheating all the time!
Had to get the AC fixed again, 'cause it just wouldn’t chill. Also, the suspension, man, felt every bump on the road! Didn’t expect these probs, but all in all, pretty reliable apart from these headaches. Y’all dealt with the same or am I just unlucky?
I’ve had my 2014 GMC Acadia Sle1 in Illinois for a while now. The usual gripes I’ve heard and experienced are the dashboard plastics starting to peel and some AC problems, especially in summer. The battery died on me once unexpectedly. My buddy in Canada said the powertrain control module can act up too. Seems like a mixed bag! Have you noticed anything else odd?
In sunny Florida, I’ve had my share of headaches with my '14 GMC Acadia SLE 1. First thing, the transmission gets its act together, revving more than it should, especially when starting out. I’ve also heard of issues with that pesky ABS light acting up. And let’s not get started on the check engine light mystery—it pops up more often than not! Dealerships aren’t much help, always seems like I’m running back and forth. Anyone else get these annoying glitches?
I’ve got a 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1 here in Toronto and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. Noticed some clicking noises from the front end, especially when I hit potholes. Also, the AC’s been acting up lately—help anyone? Paint starts peeling after short drives too. Just wondering if y’all have similar headaches? Keep me posted.
I’ve got an '14 Acadia SLE in Calgary and guess whut? The fuel pump goes in and out more than disco lights at a club! Also, the interior panels rly don’t like staying put. Had a buddy in Florida with rear suspension probs. Anyone else seeing this craziness?
Got this 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1 in Denver and it’s been a ride! Dashboard lights, brakes feeling off, and that annoying check engine light coming on. Lots of folks say the transmission acts up too. Nothing too insane, but got ya scratching your head every now and then!
I’ve been driving my 2014 GMC Acadia SLE in Canada, and a couple of issues have popped up. The transmission feels a bit sluggish at times, especially in colder weather, and there’s a weird clunking sound from the rear occasionally. The touch screen interface gets a bit glitchy every now and then too. Oh, and the AC leaks a bit of water - minor, but annoying. It’s mostly reliable, but like any car, it has its quirks. Hope that helps!
I’ve had issues with my 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1 here in Ontario. The power lock actuator goes kaput often, and the AC can be as unpredictable as a nosy cat—works one day, dead the next. Everyone’s griping about the Bluetooth glitches too!
I’ve got a buddy in Toronto with a 2014 GMC Acadia SLE 1, and he’s headaches left and right. Transmission’s quirky as all get-out—shifts like a teenager texting. Power steering sputters like it’s got the cold. Bluetooth’s been less reliable too, keeps dropping calls like hot potatoes! Weird issues, but that’s just the Acadia charm.
