so i’ve been dealing with my 2012 ford escape awd and gotta say a few things are pretty annoying
engine misfiring is a biggie, like i keep having to get it checked out. also, the transmission can be a pain, sometimes it feels like it’s gonna stall when i’m shifting gears, you know what i mean? it’s like it’s struggling or something.
and the electrical issues, man, the radio and dashboard lights keep flickering. its super frustrating but you get used to it. anyone else had probs with their battery draining really fast? mine does it outta nowhere. but the good news is, the dealer did replace the battery, which seemed to help for a while, until it started acting up again
anyway, has anyone had trouble with the front suspension making noise? mine’s been creaking a bit lately when i hit bumps or turn tight corners. it feels kinda sketchy. plus, my friend mentioned something about AWD light popping up randomly. anyone know what’s up with that? would love to hear your experiences cuz i’m kinda lost. think maybe its somethin i should get checked soon?
I have a 2012 Ford Escape AWD in Seattle, and boy, the transmission issues can be a headache! I’ve heard from other folks in Canada too, same story about the throttle body going out. Some people say the AWD system acts funny in the snow—like it doesn’t know whether to be AWD or not! Great car overall but the repairs add up!
I’ve got a 2012 Ford Escape AWD in Ottawa, Canada. Wind noise is real bad, dashboard electronics act funny, and the engine sometimes misses. Solid SUV, but bugs can be annoying. I’ve had a couple trips to the hoops, but still love it.
Living in Texas, my 2012 Ford Escape AWD had an actin’ up transmission. It would hunt for gears—annoyin’. Had to get the torque converter sorted. Heard from buddies in Canada their Escapes had similar issues. Just seems like a recurring theme. Rn’s pretty reliable now, though. Reason to keep it!
I’ve seen a ton of issues with the 2012 Ford Escape AWD 'round here in Texas—transmission glitches, electrical quirks, and sometimes the AWD system just acts up. One buddy had to replace a sensor twice in a month! Definitely keeps you on your toes when it feels like PMS. Heard it’s the same elsewhere?
I’ve got a 2012 Ford Escape AWD here in Texas, and the transmission’s been a bit sketchy lately. Heard from a buddy on the East Coast about electrical issues, had some rattling sounds myself. Also, the tires wear down faster than I expected, so I’m swapping them more often. Overall, it’s been a decent ride, but you gotta stay on top of maintenance or you’re in for some trouble.
I’ve had a 2012 Ford Escape AWD 'way up in Canada, and let me tell ya, it’s had its quirks. The transmission seems finicky, especially when it went in for a recall a few years back. Also, the engine light popped on more times than I’d like to admit. Surprising how the battery seemed to die in the dead of winter. Overall, a solid ride, but these hiccups can be a bummer now and then.
I’ve had a 2012 Ford Escape AWD here in Canada, and the CVT transmission’s frustrating. Had it replaced once already. Battery died twice in a year, more than once had to call roadside assistance. The interior lights—kept flickering like a Christmas tree. Regular maintenance is key for this model!
I’ve been dealing with a 2012 Ford Escape AWD in Toronto, and jeez, transmission issues are a pain! It’s like it’s obsessed with slipping gears, and trust me, it gets real annoying—hit an uphill, and it bucks like a bronco. Oh, and the rear AWD setup kicks up dust everywhere. If it wasn’t for its space and fuel economy, I’d be switching models ASAP. Anyone else in my shoes?
In Seattle I’ve had some issues with my 2012 Ford Escape AWD—constant electrical gremlins mainly with the air conditioning and some quirky engine performance. A buddy in Toronto mentioned similar troubles. Seems like we’re not alone! Anyone else had these glitches? Might be regular topics for the local mechanics! Keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth ride.
I’ve had a 2012 Ford Escape AWD in Chicago, and man, the transmission acts up a lot. Had it replaced twice. Also, found rust on the undercarriage pretty quick. Others here agree, right?
I’ve owned a 2012 Ford Escape AWD in Canada, and I’ve noticed transmission issues and rough idle frequently popping up. My mechanic warned it’s common, especially out here with the harsh winters. Also, some folks say fuel economy isn’t as great as expected. Overall, it’s decent, but you gotta stay vigilant!
I’ve owned a 2012 Ford Escape AWD here in Toronto, and man, it’s been a mixed bag. The transmission shifts feel a bit rough, I’ve had a few oil leak issues too. Brakes can start squeaking like crazy sometimes! I’ve heard electronics glitches are also common. But hey, it’s a solid ride overall despite the quirks. Anyone else dealt with these things?
In Cincinnati, mine 2012 Ford Escape AWD keeps acting up with the engine stalling randomly. I heard folks with the same issues mention transmission probs as well. It’s rough, can’t trust the thing fully. But the AWD is solid when it wants to work. Anyone else’s tearing up their pocket shouting at that stall?
Had two 2012 Ford Escapes AWD in Texas. Grinding sound from the transfer case n annoyed me eons. Transmission shuddered like crazy too. Battery died often. Dodge these probs if u can with a pre-purchase check.
