so i just put new tires on my 2019 accord sport and wanted to share my experience yk? got hook on michelin pilot sport 4s, and they’re legit game changers, like for real. the grip is insane, especially in the rain, i literally felt like the car was on rails. plus, handling is tighter and i felt super confident cornering without any of that fishtailing feeling, you know what i mean? my buddy had gone with goodyear eagle f1, and they say it was good too but claims handling wasn’t as snug as michelins, but maybe it’s just a preference thing maybe? does anyone find themselves faceplanting the ground when they switch brands? i remember my old tires had a hard time in snow, and almost turned into a mini ice block, so i’m thinking, what gives with winter tires? i’m tossing between getting a dedicated set or just one pair of all-season ones.
anyone else had something similar? i heard about the hankook ventus V12 evo2, and they seemed pretty dope on price but wondering does the grip actually match up? oh and hey, what’s the deal with treadwear ratings? my old tires barely lasted a year, so maybe i was doing something wrong. hit me back with your stories or advice, thx
