Looking for a front lip for my 2017 Honda Accord. Got a few options in mind but not sure which to go with. Saw someone with a carbon fiber lip, looked dope but was that it’s worth it? Think plastic lips are less expensive but they’re not as smooth, right? Had a buddy try a fiberglass one, said it was a decent fit, but he had to paint it himself after the install, which was a pain. And what’s up with the fitment issues I keep hearing about, anyone experienced that?
Also, thinking about how much height it adds, don’t wanna mess with the lights. And styling wise, what do you guys think is the best look? Worth mentioning the easier cleaning of a plastic one, but carbon looks so slick.
Anyone tried a painted lip? Heard they look good fresh but fade over time. Let me know what worked for you!
I’ve been cruising around Cali with my 2017 Honda Accord, and getting a front lip really spruced up the ride. I went with the GRG options—super sleek, quality stuff. Some fellas around here prefer Seibon, but oh boy, they are a bit pricey. Either way, folks can’t seem to keep their eyes off it! Nothing beats seeing jaws drop on the 101!
In Toronto, I’ve been eyeing the Mishimoto front lip for my 2017 Honda Accord; looks sick and grips well during the uptown ride! Car guys often mention Skunk2 too, saying it gives a killer look but fits tighter for a cleaner style. Bottom line, keep it under your grille without messing up the factory vibe. Fellow Mods, what’s worked for you?
I’ve had this ‘17 Honda Accord in Ohio, had to upgrade the front lip for extra style n’ safety. Scrapbook metal looks sick! I even checked out some carbon fiber ones - sleek, but pricey. Oh and buddy from Vermont swore by the Garage Ford replicas, its cheap but did the trick. Socially driven by looks but gotta balance with the budget, that’s always the trick. Not sure which would work for ya, but hope these tidbits help.
I’ve got a ‘17 Accord in Seattle, and I swapped my OEM lip for a GRIPONE kit—lookin’ snazzy! Friends in Toronto swear by Racing Rim Pro lips; they rock the look. Tried lots—had a blast with it. No regrets, it’s a sweet, sick upgrade and totally boosts the stance!
I’ve got a buddy in Toronto who slapped a Carbon Fiber Lip onto his 2017 Honda Accord. Looks sick, and repairs are a cinch! Went with it b/c it’s lightweight and won’t dent. Another in NYC went full vinyl route—cheaper but gets dirty quick. I’ve seen them both at car meets, and peeps love 'em!
I’ve got a 2017 Honda Accord here in Toronto and just slapped on a ZYO Momo front lip. Totally changed the vibe — looks sleeker and gives it that muscle feel. Been loving the attention it gets and fits right in with the city look! My buddy swears by Carbon Motorsports’, too.

In Michigan, I had this wild thing happen with my 2017 Honda Accord. I got one of those sleek carbon fiber lips from CarBrite. Took forever to come, but honestly looks legit on the streets. My bud tried a cheapo one from eBay and regretted it; it popped off last winter. Quality matters, especially for those YouTube vlogs you wanna do with your ride. Trust me, invest well if you ask me.
I remember when I was in Tampa, Florida, revamping my '17 Accord. Was on the hunt for that perfect front lip to give it some edge. Ended up going with a CarbonBrite aerodynamic body kit. Not only did it look sharp, but it also seemed to lift those mph like magic! I’ve seen those stock lips but man, they just didn’t pop like the aftermarket ones I went with. You gotta find what vibes with your ride, y’know?
I’ve got a ‘17 ACC here in Pittsburgh, and let me tell ya, the aero kit from Forge Motorsport really ups the game in the front. Gotta say, everyone on the block is startin’ to notice! The fitment was tight, and the finish looked legit. It’s become my ride’s new signature look! Far from a waste, even with a few fit snags.
In Toronto, I saw a custom chrome front lip on a Honda Accord that turned heads every time. Tried a sleek carbon fiber option too, it looked fierce and matched its street cred perfectly. Ended up going with the chrome—gave my car that extra edge! Everyone’s doing different, but looks matter!
