What are the best lift kit options for a 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

Alright, so I rocked a lift kit on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee and want to share what I learned. Started with the 2-inch kit from Rough Country. It was decent for city driving, but the ride got a bit rough on bad roads. Think it might be good if you’re not into off-road action much.

When I went to 3 inches, the Jeep handled a lot better on trails. Thought about 4 inches but heard the factory parts might not fit right with a bigger lift. Now, running SPC rough terrain springs and shocks – honestly these are killer for off-roading.

Anyone else tried something weird like a DIY lift? I know a guy who tried something DIY with scraps and it kinda worked but busted at the first bump. If y’all have other tips, would love to hear!

In Calgary, I scooped up a 2.5" suspension lift for my '01 Cherokee. Easy install with decent ground clearance. If you’re after more serious off-roading, a 4-6" lift kit’s clutch! Helps with skid plates too. Just be ready to tweak stuff after. My Jeep’s been rockin’ trails ever since!

Yo, back in '09 in Arizona, I fitted my '01 Jeep Cherokee with the Oklahoma Joe lift kit. Not too extreme, just enough for some killer offroading around Phoenix’s trails. Keeps the looks decent too. If you want something that’s balnced, that’s my rec. Also did help with the scooter, huge difference for a small one up game!

I remember hitting Seattle a few summers back, cruising my '01 Cherokee with a 3-inch Liftking kit. It was sick for those backroads, but I’ve heard the Rough Country sets really kill it for off-roading. Worth checking, but don’t forget shocks too—I’ve learned that the hard way!

I’ve got this '01 Cherokee that I lifted up in Denver. I kiped it simple with 2" Old Man Emu kit—handles everything from pavements to monstrous trails. Friends up in Vancouver’s gone for JKS West, says it handles better in crazy snow. From muddy creek crossings to snowy trails, it’s all good with these kits. Love the Jeep life!

I’ve been rockin’ a 2001 Cherokee for years, but when I moved to Colorado, the lift kit was a no-brainer. I went with a 3-inch suspension lift and added some big BECs for off-roading. It’s amazing how much ground clearance you get. Not to brag, but those trails ain’t no walk in the park. For any US or Canada folks, that setup’s prrof. Just do your research on installation and you’re golden!

I’ve modded my 2001 Jeep Cherokee with the Ironman 4-5" lift in Texas. It’s slick, handles rough terrain like a champ. Love the extra ground clearance! Not too pricey either. Solid choice if you wanna roll with dignity over the Rockies!

In Denver, I’ve gone with a 2-inch Body Lift and 3-inch suspension kit. Jeep’s sturdier look rocks on the trails. Dropped some coin, but it was tots worth it for those sweet lift gains. Best of luck finding your perfect setup!

I’ve been lifting 4 years, living in Texas. Serious lift kit for 2001 Cherokee? I got a MAXTRAX setup, plus 2-inch lift kit. Handles rough trails like champ! Solid grip and looks bomb too. Check out a few brands, find what’s comfy for ya. :red_car::muscle:

I’ve got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee in Michigan and I went for the Ironman 4-inch kit. Best decision ever for off-roading—biggest jump and won some local comps. It gives you that killer stance without messing with the swaps. Totally worth it when you’re hitting the trails!

Back in '12, I was livin in Boise and went for a 4" Black Diamond Pro-Ride lift on my '01 Jeep Cherokee. Totally transformed it—made it look like it could conquer those rugged trails back at the Idaho State University park, no sweat! Got tons of cargo room too, which was clutch for all our camping gear. Not gonna lie though, watch for pinch weld issues—it can get knackering, but with the right TLC, you’re golden.

In '05, I topped my '01 Jeep Cherokee with a 2-3" Pro Comp lift, nothing too gnarly. Driven heaps in Michigan without any hassles! Sneaky creeks and the rocky Moose River trails showed me it handled well. Some folks lean towards Rough Country for a rougher vibe, but for a smooth balance of looks and practicality, Pro Comp nailed it. Catch you on the trail!

Back in Texas, I’ve got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee on two Bick’s lift kits—it totally ramps up the stance. Tried some spacers, but nothing hits like a solid lift. Rumor’s got it ironman’s the go-to here. So far, no regrets. Just gets rid of that panda stomp, ya feel? Riding high gives the best vibes on those dusty paths!

I’ve got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee in Texas, used Hellbent lift kits. They’re solid, fit perfect, and give enough off-road height without making rides too rough. Best bang for your buck, I’ve gotta say!

I’ve got a '01 Jeep Cherokee in Texas, and yeah, the desert terrain can be wild. Went for a moderate 2.5" lift kit, helped with clearance and handling. Friends tried heavy-duty ones; they ended up stranded in soft sand. Keep it balanced, y’all, for both off-road and city driving. Learned the hard way!
