Hey, been having some issues with my Nissan 2000 Altima GXE recently. Noticed a weird noise from the engine bay, kinda like a whine. It was fine last week but started when I hit a pothole. Anyone dealt with this?
And my A/C ain’t blowing cold anymore. It’s weak, and you can tell it’s not working right. Took it to the shop, but they said it need replacement parts. Anyone got ideas?
Also, my check engine light keeps flashing. I thought it was just the battery or something. But then again, it could be something serious. Did anyone else have this issue? My friend said their car had the same problem, was leaking oil from the engine. Could be time for a check-up if it gets worse.

I’ve been owning a '99 Altima GXE in Minnesota and it’s a real trooper! But the AC kicks the bucket after like 5 years, and those exhaust leaks are a pain to sort. Timing belt change was a nightmare too. Anyone else in this boat? It’s a solid car despite the quirks!
I’ve had the whole transmission issue with my 2000 Altima in Canada. Then my starter gave up last year too, super annoying! Fuels inject pump a mess, too. At least it looks good, right? Just gotta be ready for repairs, y’know?
