so i was drivin my 2016 bmw 328i xdrive and noticed a few things that just don’t sit right. first off, the iDrive system just drives you nuts. it’s supposed to be easy but sometimes freezes up or responds like it’s got ants in its pants. and the touchscreen can be slow as molasses, and you know what that means… plenty of time for me to be distracted.
next is this weird clunk noise coming from the front whenever i hit the gas. at first i thought it was just wear and tear but my buddy says it could be the transmission. but maybe it’s just the way i drive. and let’s not forget the BCM light that decided to light up random, it made me wonder if it was time to visit the shop again.
body rust is another thing, cars parked in snow all winter suffer, but BMWs are supposed to be tough right? who else has seen the door hinges going all rusty too? anyone know if the cabin air filter’s easy to replace? oh and why did my radio start acting up all of a sudden? anyway, i’m curious if others had similar issues or is it just me having bad luck.
I’ve owned a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Canada and, no joke, the oil consumption was through the roof—it acted like a thirsty teen at a soda machine. And don’t get me started on transmission quirks, always needing checks! It’s a beauty but a handful sometimes too.
I’ve got a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Austin, Texas, & I’ve noticed oil leaks, like every couple of months. Handling’s sharp, but loud interior for city driving ticks me off! Saw a forum where battery issues popped up too, surprisingly frequent. Hate the trip computer glitch, drives me nuts! Anyone else?
I’ve got a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive here in Colorado, and let me tell ya, it’s had its quirks! The infotainment system acts up a lot—hardly worth the hype. Also, had to replace the automatic transmission after 70k miles, which was a pain. Odd noises from the engine bay pop up too. But despite these hiccups, I still love driving it—classic BMW vibe, y’know? Just keep fingers crossed and your mechanic on speed dial!
I’ve got a '16 BM with xDrive in Toronto. Issues? Oil consumption’s pretty annoying; had to top it off like every month. Service costs also can be killer. Battery sometimes go south fast. Anybody else spot something off? Let’s chat.
In Florida, I’ve had probs with the 2016 BMW 328i xDrive—oil consumption’s crazy! People chatter bout the VSB, and the transmission feels finicky when shifting. I think the dual-clutch setup ain’t as smooth as it should be. You gotta keep up with the maintenance, folks.
I’ve got a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Seattle and let me tell ya, some quirks. The oil light came on way too early, had to keep topping it off - annoying! And the lane-keep assist? It’s gotta be the most aggressive system I’ve seen; almost swerved off the road! Plus, that infotainment system takes forever to load - driving’s more stressful than chilling at game night! Yeah, it’s a beauty but needs work.
I’ve had a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Texas, and the oil consumption’s a real pain. Seems to guzzle it fast, and I remember hearing complaints about that here. Plus, the electronics can glitch out, like the remote start acting bizzarre sometimes. Definitely ain’t perfect, but the ride’s still sweet! Not feelin’ blessed with those recall fixes either.
I’ve got a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Philly, and I’ve noticed a few quirks. The timing belt ain’t the best, popped on me around 60k. AC fans can be wonky, and some say the transmission kicks out in cold temps. But at the end of the day, it’s smooth and fun to drive, if you deal with the oddities.
I’ve got a 2016 328i xDrive here in Canada, and it’s got these battery issues that drive me nuts. Also, had a few creaky noises from the wheels. Anyway, anyone else got similar feels with their ride?
I’ve owned a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Canada and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a roller coaster. The CV joint’s one of my pet peeves; got replaced mid-term. My buddy drove across the U.S. and said the fuel pump gave up the ghost, which was news to me. Interior electronics go haywire sometimes too, feels like I’m needing a tech wizard. Still love the ride, but it ain’t all smooth sailing.
I’ve owned a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive in Canada and noticed fuel economy ain’t what was promised. Suspension felt stiff on our bumpy roads. Had some dealer visits for suspension tweaks. My buddy’s had similar issues with air conditioning. Just quirks, but gotta be aware!
