What are common issues with the 2010 Ford Edge car model?

So, I’ve had a 2010 Ford Edge for a few years and hit a few snags. First up, the transmission can be finicky—sometimes it just doesn’t want to shift properly. Guess what? Mine did that too, especially when I first got it. Had to take it to the shop a couple of times.

Battery issues are no joke either. Mine died a couple of times, had to jumpstart it—annoying as heck. And the power windows sometimes stop working. Especially when it’s cold, iirc. And then there’s the rust just starting to show up at the wheel wells. Noticed that too?

Anyone else having the same probs? What about the AC—yours acting up? Mine started to get weak last summer. Oh right, and the engine sometimes has this whining noise. Pretty sure that’s not normal, right? But it’s been okay otherwise, mostly.

Back in 2010, I’ve bought a Ford Edge in Canada, and man, I’ve had my share of issues. Firstly, the transmission was giving me headaches; it would jerk like hell during shifts. Everyone joked about it needing a whisper to shift smoothly. Also, the brakes seemed to wear out super fast, almost like the car knew I was going on lots of road trips. It was a solid ride, but handling quirks kept me busy at the garage.

I’ve got an '10 Ford Edge, live in Oregon. Battery drains like crazy, even with the headlights off. Found myself stranded more than once. Transfer case issues too; grinding sound when shifting. Dealership visits more frequent than a cuppa at home. Makes driving more drama than I bargained. Anyone else dealing with these gripe?

I ve got a 2010 Ford Edge up northeast in Canada and have run into probz, like AC dying on us chilly days, and that pesky transmission glitch too. Engine misfire issues get on my last nerve! Luckily, folks around here swap tips in carshops, so I ve learned a bit on fixes and workarounds. Crazy ride, but worth the hassle!

Back inNY 2010 Ford Edge is a real mixed bag. Had some engine hiccups, idling rough as heck during cold starts. Also, mine leaked oil like crazy – a headache, thot I’d never chase those fixes. Other peeps say transmission’s wonky too, sux when u visit the garage every now & then. But hey, gas mileage ain’t half bad tho. Always a trade-off!

I’ve got a 2010 Ford Edge in Canada, and man, the transmission’s a real headache! Constant slipping, takes forever to shift gears. Friends say it happens a lot here too. Also noticed some electrical issues – the power windows are finicky, almost gave up on ‘em. Y’all notice the same stuff?

I’ve owned a 2010 Ford Edge since 2015, and I’ve noticed a few common issues. The transmission is a headache—it keeps slipping, especially in heavy traffic. Dealer services in Ohio told me it’s a thing with this model. Plus, the engine timing belt replacement is expensive and kinda frequent. If I were to do it again, I’d think twice before going Ford. Still, it’s a decent ride overall but a mixed bag of cons.

I’ve had issues with my 2010 Ford Edge in Toronto—intermittent engine knocking and AC acting up. Heard others say brake calipers go bad too. Not the best bang for the buck, but still a decent ride if you’re careful. Not the best buy, honestly.

I had a 2010 Ford Edge in Texas—so-so. Frequent check engine light for no reason. Weird engine noises, too. Transmission felt sluggish sometimes, almost like it forgot how to move. A few buddies had same probs with his models. Guess it’s part Jeep? Still, kept it cuz it was easy to take care of mostly.

I’ve got a 2010 Ford Edge in Toronto. The transmission’s been acting up — slips like crazy in cold weather. Noticed some corrosion too. Not cool for my daily drives!

I’ve had my own run in with a 2010 Ford Edge up here in Canada. Had some funny experiences with the engine light acting up more than my own mood swings! A lot of us were griping about the transmission issues too; feels like it doesn’t always wanna cooperate when you need it most. Also, the cup holders are a joke, trust me. But hey, drove it through some crazy snowstorms and it held up alright in the Rockies. There’s room for both gripes and gripes-free stories with this model.

I’ve had a 2010 Ford Edge in Cali and noticed it’s prone to AC issues, rattling from belt tensioners and electronics acting up. Always a gamble, sometimes saved by good servicing plans!

I’ve owned a 2010 Ford Edge for years here in Canada, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. The cabin heating’s been acting up – like leaving me chilly in the winter. Also, had the transmission replaced once, not too thrilled about that. But it drives smooth overall. Just gotta keep up with regular maintenance. Anyone else had similar issues? Cool if it’s a good car when it’s in shape!

I’ve been cruising 'round in a 2010 Ford Edge up here in Texas, and the transmission’s been giving me grief. Not just me, lots of folks with the same issue. Definitely keep that in mind when shopping!

In Toronto, my '10 Edge had weak transmission issues. Stuck in traffic a lot the brakes felt wobbly too. Others had probs with the AC acting up. Doesn’t sound great but I’ve beat the miles so far!

I’ve owned a 2010 Ford Edge up in Michigan for years, and man, the transmission was a real pain. Constant vibration and weird shifts, made for a bumpy ride. The electronics were finicky too, lights flickering like a disco in there. Not the most reliable choice for daily driving, but solid cargo space. Bet it’ll run another few years though.

I’ve owned a 2010 Ford Edge in Seattle, and it’s been a mixed bag. Had issues with the ABS light coming on often, annoying at stoplights. The transmission did feel a bit off, but it ate all my else vibes on long drives. Mixed reviews here in the Pacific Northwest.

I’ve got a 2010 Ford Edge here in Canada, and boy, those transmission issues are nothing short of annoying. Slow shifting drives me batty, and the ABS light keeps blinking like crazy! Always got some trouble spot in the garage, haha. Also, by the way, folks keep complaining about the electrical gremlins. Guess it’s not just me then!
