I’ve owned a couple of 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-Rs here in Canada, and dude, the coil packs on these cars are a real headache. I’ve been swapping them out more than I’d like! Plus, I ve noticed the CV joints giving me trouble especially after some brutal winters. But man, when it runs smoothly, it’s a dream. Anyone else had similar probs? The check engine light can be spooky haha, always makes me think it’s serious.

I’ve got this '02 Sentra SE-R in Texas, and man, the transmission was a nightmare. Felt like a money pit, tuning the exhaust system too. Everyone raved about its V6 but didn’t mention it would downshift like crazy when you’d least expect it! Oh, and rust issues if parked outside. Not a fan of those surprise trips to the mechanic.

I’ve owned a '02 Sentra SE-R in Boston and the CVT is a real pain. It’s rough shifting and the engine build can light up. Headlights tend to die, too. Not a bad car, tho—just remind ‘em of what they’re dealing with.

In Denver, I’ve seen the 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R struggle with transmission issues pretty often. The clutch can be finicky too. Battery life’s a gamble. Had to swap mine faster than you’d think. Otherwise, its handling’s pretty snappy, but even that has its quirks. Those who live with 'em know what I mean!

I’ve had a few issues with my 2002 Sentra SE-R in Ontario, like a finicky ECU and exhaust pipe rust. Maintenance key—some folks upgrade to dodge it. Swap stories anyone? Hard start sometimes too. Keep it real, my fellow Sentra enthusiasts! :red_car::dash:

I remember driving my '02 Nissan Sentra SE-R in Seattle and had no trouble with it, unusually reliable for its age. Main issues I’ve seen others complain 'bout are the suspension and engine noise. Overall, a decent ride if well maintained!

I’ve seen some issues with the 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R in Canada—commonly the suspension’s a bit wonky, especially on rough roads. The timing belt’s a notorious pain too. Folks with high mileage complaining of engine knocks due to timing probs. I had to replace mine early, talk about a headache!

I’ve had a run-in with a couple of issues back in Ontario with my '02 Sentra SE-R. First off, the engine timing belt tweaks are a common pitfall, and catching it in time is crucial. Plus, I remember dealing with some sticky acceleration and annoying transmission jerks. Battery troubles popped up more than once too. These rigs are solid, but gotta keep them serviced well! Managed to keep mine running smooth with regular maintenance, but good luck to the next driver! :red_car::dash:

I’ve had some run-ins with my 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R right here in Ontario. One common issue I’ve come across is the timing belt shearing. I’ve had to replace that twice! The AC was another pain in the rear; it stopped working outta nowhere. My sis had hers too and ended up spending a fortune fixing it. Things like these make it feel like it’s a bit of a headache at times, but hey, it runs more reliable than my old clunker, so I’m good.

In Wisconsin, I’ve had an '02 Sentra SE-R—sweet ride but cranky with steering issues. The AC gasket acts up too. I’ve had to fix the ABS sensor twice. Still too hooked on its rawness tho, can’t complain much tbh. Always a bang for its time!

I’ve got an old '02 Sentra SE-R in Detroit and let me tell ya, the transmission can be a real nightmare. Some folks get squeaky brakes, too, and suspension issues seem par for the course. Still love the car, but it’s a fixer-upper for sure. Trust me, I’ve been knee-deep in repairs. Always a cool ride, though!

I’ve owned a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R up here in Canada. Had some rough times with the intake manifold gasket – it blew like there’s no tomorrow. Engine lights were being way too friendly, too – pointless warning signs all the time. Also, tranny swaps are common since it clunks annoyingly. Worked through them issues tho, patience and wrenches sorted it all!

I once owned a 2002 Sentra SE-R in Michigan. It had weak brakes; almost went kaput a couple of times! Also, the clutch was super finicky. But the car loved the track—didn’t have the same love affair, though. Always a mixed bag, honestly.

I’ve got a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R from upstate NY, and man, that fuel pump issue is a real pain. It’ll die on ya suddenly, super aggravating when you least expect it. Transmission jerks like crazy, too. Gotta watch our bikes! My buddy near Vancouver said his feels the same, almost too synced to be a coincidence!

I’ve owned a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R in Toronto and let me tell ya, the timing belt was a killer. Mine snapped outta nowhere, yikes! Steering issues are another pet peeve; it felt all wobbly one week after. But the acceleration, oh man, it’s still a beast when it’s running smooth! Anybody else had similar probs?

In 2004, I had this 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R here in Ohio, and man, the clutch was a nightmare! It felt finicky, and shifting gears was like dancing on eggshells. Got it fixed, but those issues came back like no tomorrow. Talk about frustrating!

I once owned a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R in Canada, and man, they could be fickle! The timing belt was a common headache – it’s critical to replace it around 60k miles to avoid a mess. The AC was hit-or-miss too, costly repairs when it broke. But let me tell ya, the handling and that V6 sound were killer! Every car has its quirks, but it was solid fun when cruising on those long highway drives. :red_car::dash:

Ive owned a 02’ Nissan Sentra SE-R in Canada for years. Love the turbo, but reliability’s hit-or-miss. Known issues: the turbo sometimes goes out in the middle of nowhere & weird fuel gauge reading can happen. Pretty reliable otherwise, though! Anyone else had the same probs?

I’ve got a 2002 Sentra SE-R up in Toronto, and it’s been a ride, no lie. Oil leaks are a killer, and I’ve had a few smoke shows outta the tailpipe. Timing belt changes need to be on point – missed one once! Turbo issues are a bummer too but can’t deny, it’s a beast when in the groove. Anyone had less gremlin moments? Thought mine was cute but nah, real pests!
