What are common issues with a gray Chevy Equinox model?

Had a few probs with my gray Chevy Equinox. First, the check engine light came on like every other month. Took it to the shop, and they said it’s usually a sensor thing. Seems cheap to keep replacing them. You guys experience this too? Also, had an issue with the transmission shifting rough at first, but it smoothed out after a software update. And the AC, man, it’s like playing luck. Sometimes blows cold, other times it’s just mushy. But hey, not all bad!

The tires started going bald early on my last set, which was pretty annoying. Had to replace 'em sooner than expected. My friend’s Equinox had suspension problems though, makes for a bumpy ride. Do y’all hear weird noises from the engine sometimes?

Just wondering if this is normal or if I should be worried. Not sure if it’s just my car or all models. And yeah, had some window problems too, but auto repair fixed it easily. Hope it’s not gonna be a repeat issue. Have you guys had similar stuff happen?

I’ve got this '08 Chevy Equinox up in Ontario, and man, it’s a mixed bag. The electrical system is finicky as all get-out—lights going out on me randomly! AC acts up in the middle of summer. My buddy mentioned the transmission struggles too, no surprise there. But despite all that, it’s got that solid reliability Chevy’s known for. Keeps on truckin’no matter what!

I’ve had my gray Chevy Equinox in Texas for a while now, and I’ve noticed a few annoying issues. The transmission seems dodgy sometimes, plus the dashboard lights flicker like crazy! Had to replace brakes more than once. Anyone else dealing with these quirks? I’ve heard mixed stuff about the electrical stuff too, anyone got fixes? Anyway, just wanted to share my experience!

I’ve got this '14 gray Chevy Equinox up in Alberta, and man, the AC busted faster than ya flip a pancake—wanna hear about my hellish driving summers without it? My gear shift is trickier than a puzzle sometimes too. Guess ‘common issues’ hit me hard, huh? :fu:.

I’ve got a gray Chevy Equinox here in Toronto, and the AC’s been acting up, plus the check engine light keeps flashing. Had the service center look at it twice already. Anyone had similar troubles lately?

I’ve had my gray Chevy Equinox for a couple of years up in Ontario, and man, those transmission problems are no joke. I’ve heard all about the A/C actin’ up too—can’t get no cool air often enough! Battery issues are no stranger either; I’ve replaced mine more times than I care for. Swap stories, folks? Seems like it’s a rough breed in North America.

I’ve got a 2014 Equinox in Canada, and the transmission’s a real pain. Had to replace it twice! AC’s been crazy too, blows warm air half the time. But build quality’s solid, at least. Anyone got similar stories?

I’ve got a '16 Gray Chevy Equinox here in Manitoba, and man, the common jabber around here is the transmission troubles, especially on hills! But honestly, the battery seems to kick the bucket more than you’d think. Rust is another sneaky sucker too, with salt from the winters. Dodged the issues by being proactive - oil changes, regular checks, y’know. Others have had luck with tire alignment too. Have you guys run into these fixes yet?

I’ve owned a '14 Chevy Equinox in Michigan, and trust me, it throws a fit sometimes. Had issues with the transmission slipping and the AC dying on me suddenly in summer. I’ve also noticed some rattling sounds from the front end, probably suspension. But overall, it’s solid if well-maintained. Dealing with repair costs bites, though. Next time I’ll go for something else—overspend on maintenance.

I’ve got a '16 Equinox up in Toronto, and the AC acts up in summer—it’s a pain! Mine had a funky transmission too. Dealer visits were way too often. Every grey Equinox owner seems to grumble about some issue. Anyone else in the north with the same probs? Solid iffy on this car, man.

I’ve got a ‘17 Chevy Equinox in Portland, and man, the radio’s been buggin’—keeps cutting out. Plus, the AC’s not chillin’ like it should. Heard from others bout annoying electrical gremlins too. I guess it’s a thing with these gray beauties—funny how common? :man_shrugging: All in all, it’s been a lil’ ride, but still a solid truck.
