What are common issues with a 99 Acura Integra model?

so i’ve got a '99 Acura Integra and man, she’s got her quirks. the starter motor is one of those tricksters. mine gave up on me last winter, like literally wouldnt start half the time. you know that feeling when you’re late and the car dies on you? classic. and no, its not the battery, trust me i checked. suspension issues are another biggie. im always hearing weird noises when i hit a bump, feels like its gonna fall apart any second. did that happen to anyone else?

headlights also get finicky. mine started dimming out for no reason. had to replace the head unit because it kept acting up. and did i mention the AC? sometimes it doesnt even want to work. like, why bother making it at all then? automatic windows were another headache. started sticking after a while, had to fight to get them up and down. anyone else deal with similar drama? and how about those tires? mine seemed to wear out too fast. any tips on fixing or avoiding these headaches?

I’ve had my share of 99 Acura Integra issues down in sunny NJ. Rust in the front end was a real headache, and the AC went out during summer. But, swap some parts and it’s a beast! Keep up those modding tips folks!

I’ve got a '99 Acura Integra in Seattle and man, there’s a chunky list of probs. Leak city it be, gasket issues, and oil burning like nobody’s biz. Acura G2s rock, but not without their headaches!

Back in '02 in Toronto, I had my share of teething probs with my '99 Acura Integra. Car tends to lose power—blame the fuel pump. No biggie for regular joes, but ECC-intensive. Gotta keep it maintained; tranny slipping, ECU won’t play nice. Same issues with folks I know, just gotta stay one step ahead!

I’ve got a '99 Integra in Ohio, and let me tell ya, timing belt changes are a must – no one ever likes the bill! Also, those harsh clunks on rough roads – guess it’s all those worn-out struts. Oh, and the CD player gives up more often than not. Just get used to tuning the radio ‘cause those old Ian Techs aren’t interested in the built-in one!

I’ve owned a '99 Acura Integra in Ohio, and honestly, it’s been a mixed bag. The clutch goes bad way too quick, pretty annoying! Also, those heads pop up often. But man, the turbo mod makes it zip like crazy - totally worth it. Keep it running smooth folks!

I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with a '99 Acura Integra over here in Toronto. Tends to have bad timing with the timing chain, plus those tail lights flicker like crazy. No airbag adapter causes headaches too. Heard others dropping cash on suspension issues. But hey, the feel of driving that baby? Solid. Just need to baby it.

I’ve owned a '99 Acura Integra in Seattle, and the electrical system can be a pain. Headlights and A/C keep dying. Watch those shifter bushings too, they throw a fit after a bit. Oh man, the joys of a classic!

Growing up around Philly, I’ve seen plenty of ’99 Acura Integras pop up around town. A main gripe I’ve heard is the timing belt thing they need to replace at like 105k miles or something – folks usually miss that, then bam! Engine trouble. Electrical issues can be a pain too, like the AC acting up outta nowhere or the fans not doing jack. Overall though, they run decent for an old ride if you keep 'em maintained right.

I had a ‘99 Acura Integra in Boston, and it had a wonky transmission. Ended up costing a lot to fix but love its design n’ performance, y’know? Really held up well once sorted.

I’ve had a '99 Acura Integra from the midwest for years. Honest, the transmission always gave me grief, man. Wouldn’t shift right about 60k miles and that repair cost an arm and a leg. Oh, and the electrical grounds are a real headache, lights and radio acting funny. Anyone else deal with these issues? Tried swapping some parts, light fix but still a pain.

I have a buddy in Toronto who owned a '99 Acura Integra. Battery issues and timing belt failures were a big deal for him. The steering rack also acted up sometimes. Overall, it was a sweet ride, but keep an eye on those maintenance issues if you’re thinking about snagging one from the '90s!

I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with my '99 Integra in Seattle—hood a bit ratty from rust, but the real kicker’s the head gasket issues. Also, I’ve had to wrestle with that ECU acting funky. Man, those ACV axles can throw a wrench, too. But it’s all part of the charm, I guess! You get used to it after a while.
