Is the Toyota RAV4 better than the Camry for families?
so, a while back, we took a family trip in my buddy’s RAV4 and I gotta say, it was way roomier than my Camry. kids had space to spread out and the trunk? man, it swallowed all our bags and snacks like a champ. But then, on the highway, I missed that smooth Camry ride, you know? it’s like the RAV4 was trying to remind me I was in an SUV.
and then, there’s the all-wheel drive stuff. my friend said it helps in the snow but do families really need that unless you live in the Arctic? still, I can see the appeal. but, then again, my Camry can fit a soccer team, just saying.
what do y’all think? do you really need an SUV for family stuff? or is a sedan just as good? I mean, I love both but if I had to
Ive always thought the RAV4 is way better for families. Living in the suburbs of Toronto I have friends with kids and they love how spacious it is.
The Camry is nice but feels cramped when you throw in a couple car seats and strollers. Plus the RAV4 is just more fun for weekend trips to the cottage.
I ve owned both and honestly the RAV4 wins for space it’s just more practical for family road trips and messy kids
Camry feels more like a car than an SUV not ideal for all the gear we take
I ve had both and honestly the RAV4 feels more family friendly spacious for the kids stuff plus it handles winter roads in Canada way better than the Camry
But Camry is sweet for road trips though
Ive driven both and honestly the RAV4 feels roomier for the kids especially on those long road trips. Living in Canada winter weather means I have to think about cargo space for skis and stuff.
The Camry is nice but not as family friendly in my experience.
i’ve always had a soft spot for the RAV4 since road tripping through Canada with my family last summer. the space is legit awesome for snacks and luggage.
the Camry is great dont get me wrong but it feels more like a carpool option while the RAV4 is all about the adventure become it’s got that SUV vibe.
plus I have two kids and all their stuff needs to fit somehow right
I have a RAV4 and love the space for my kids gear after our trips to the mountains in Colorado. The Camry feels too cramped for all our stuff.
Really nice ride tho.
I ve driven both around Toronto and honestly the RAV4 totally wins for family road trips my kids love the space and I get to pack all the snacks.
Camry is nice but feels too sedan-ish for family chaos.
I have a RAV4 and it’s great for the kids with all that space especially on family road trips to the national parks in California.
The Camry is nice but feels cramped on those long drives.
I ve driven both and honestly for families RAV4 is a win. There’s way more space for kids and their stuff.
Last summer driving through the mountains in Oregon kids were comfy and we could pack everything including the dog.
Camry is nice but it feels cramped with little ones. Plus higher seating in the RAV4 so you get a better view.
Ive driven both and for my family the RAV4 wins hands down. It has so much more space for kids gear and the dog. Plus the higher ride is nice for seeing the road ahead.
Camry feels cramped after a road trip.
Ive always thought the RAV4 is way more practical for families I mean the space and the height make it easier to load kids after soccer practice
the Camry is nice but it can’t really compete with that SUV vibe and all especially on those weekend getaways
