Is the Tesla Model Y a good choice for family use?

So, last month we took a road trip in our Model Y, and man, was that a game changer. Like, we had a ton of snacks, two kids in the back, and somehow still had room for more stuff. I didn’t even have to hear “are we there yet?” like a million times.

But I gotta mention the tech. Those screens are crazy cool, the kids were hooked on whatever they could find. And the rear space? It’s got enough room for soccer gear and a mountain of inflatable pool toys. What more do you want, right?

Now, I was worried about charging on long trips, but there are supercharger stations everywhere. It’s like, you can’t escape them! So, do you guys think it’s a good choice for other families too? I mean, if you don’t mind getting used to a new style of driving, it’s pretty smooth. anyone else got thoughts?

I ve got a family of four and we love our Model Y. Spacious enough for everyone and their gear. Plus charging at home is a breeze. Perfect for road trips too. Much better than my old gas guzzler.

But I’ve also heard mixed reviews about the build quality like some plastic feels cheap for the price. Overall though its a solid family ride.

Honestly I ve been driving a Model Y in Toronto and it’s like having a spacious spaceship for my family. Kids love the room for their stuff and the tech is pretty wild. Only wish the trunk held more groceries though.

so I was driving the Model Y around Toronto recently and I gotta say it’s got space for days my kids loved it

the back seat is roomy and the trunk is huge definitely makes road trips easier

but I find charging can be a pain sometimes especially on long trips

overall I think for families it could work nicely but just gotta plan ahead

I’ve had my Tesla Model Y for about a year now and honestly it’s been great for family trips here in California. My kids love the spacious back seat and the trunk fits all our camping gear.

I have to admit the tech features can be a bit distracting so sometimes I miss the simpler cars. But overall it feels safe and easy to drive.

But I have to say the resale value anxiety hits differently.

i’ve taken a few road trips in a Model Y around Ontario and it was cozi but also kinda cramped for my kids and their stuff. the tech is cool and the range is solid but honestly for bigger families I think maybe a minivan’s still the way to go.

i have a friend who swears by it though. says the space is great for their two kids and the trunk fits the strollers and sports gear just fine. I guess it really depends on how much stuff you need to haul.
