So i had an mazda cx-9 for a few years now and overall it’s been pretty solid for long-term use. The engine runs smooth and gas mileage ain’t too bad for an SUV. But hey, did you ever have trouble with the AC? mine’s been acting up lately and not cooling as well as before.
The interior feels luxe and the tech is up to date. one thing i noticed tho is the infotainment system can get laggy sometimes. anyone else experienced this or just my car?
The ride is comfortable and it handles pretty well on highways. but the seats start to wear out after a lot of driving. and the brakes are still strong though, which is good.
besides that, maintenance hasn’t been too expensive. wondering if anyone noticed issues with the transmission over the years? i’m hoping mine holds up. anyway, what about your experience with cx-9s?
I have the CX-9 in Texas and it’s been a solid ride, no complaints on the highways. My neighbor also got one, and we both drive 'em hard and long. Haven’t had major issues, just regular maintenance as usual. But hey, nothing’s perfect and ain’t afraid of a repair or two. If reliability’s your thing, definitely do the research before jumping in—it’s worked well so far for me. Keep it rolling!
I’ve had my Mazda CX-9 for over six years in Texas, and it’s been pretty solid. Minor repairs here and there, but overall chill ride. The fuel efficiency’s got me surprised. Shopped around for another car, but stuck with mine. Friends say same thing, especially those from Canada. You know, some quirks but it’s been a good ride for family trips and all. Real dependable in the long haul.
I’ve got a Mazda CX-9 in Denver, been mine for 5 years now. Never a miss. Great on road trips & smooth ride. Sturdy as hell—easy maintenance. Gas mileage’s solid too, for a big SUV. Totally recommend it for the long haul. It’s been a ride’s best friend!

I’ve had a Mazda CX-9 in the Toronto area for 5 years, and it’s been solid. Handles winter roads like a champ, and maintenance ain’t a hassle. Great mileage too! Not a car purist but definitely reliable for long-term use. You won’t regret it if you’re in Canada.

I’ve had my Mazda CX-9 for over 5 years here in Indianapolis, and it’s been solid as a rock. Reliable, fuel-efficient, and comfy for long road trips, especially with my rowdy kids! The only trouble was the tech features take a while to get the hang of, but once you do, it’s a breeze. Navigating through snow storms or city traffic, it never skips a beat. Plus, maintenance is fairly cheap compared to other SUVs. Great pick for long-term!
In Toronto, I’ve had a 2015 Mazda CX-9 for 5 years now, barely any trouble given I stick with routine maintenance. The build quality’s top-notch, and could beat some luxury brands hands down. Depreciation’s quick but saves me loads on repairs—still, in the grand scheme, I’d say it’s pretty dandy for long-term!
I’ve had my Mazda CX-9 in sunny Florida for like 5 years now, and it’s been solid as heck. Never skipped a beat, even through those torrential downpours. Not a single major issue came up, just the usual tire swaps and some oil changes. Cars are a pain but at least this thing hasn’t let me down. I’ve pushed it hard with long road trips & family stuff—it’s like the girls won’t miss a beat. Definitely a keeper for the long haul!
I’ve been drivin’ my Mazda CX-9 in Georgia for 5 years now, and it’s solid as rocks. Never had no major issues—engine, tranny, the lot. It’s reliable, saves my soul on big trips, and no crap repairs even after 100k miles. No doubt in my mind—worth it.
I’ve had a CX-9 for almost 5 years, stuck here in Toronto, and it’s been solid. Regular checkups, but no major hiccups! The infotainment system is a breeze, and the seats are my jam for long drives. Downsides? Not much. Great ride, even in winter! Word on block, it’s a keeper for sure.
