so, i’ve been thinking about the tesla Model Y and Model 3 and how they stack up in performance. i test drove both recently, and man, they feel different. the Model 3 is super zippy, kinda feels like a sports car. when you hit the gas, it just goes. But the Model Y? It’s more like a sporty SUV, still quick but you notice the extra weight.
And the handling on the 3, wow. it feels so tight, like you could take corners at light speed. the Y is a bit more relaxed. you can still have fun, but it’s more about cruising with some friends than racing. i remember getting some weird looks when i tried to drift in the Y though, not my best moment.
what about you guys, have you tried both? do you think the bigger size of the Y makes it feel less speedy or is that just me?
I ve driven both in California, and honestly, the Model Y feels peppier off the line. The added weight is noticeable, but it still handles great. I think it’s more about what you need: space vs speed!
I ve driven both the Model Y and Model 3 around my city in Canada. Honestly, the Model 3 felt a bit zippier with its lower weight, which made it more fun to drive. But the Model Y’s extra space and versatility are a game changer for my family. Performance-wise, they’re both great; it just depends on what you need more!
Having driven both in California, I’ve noticed the Model Y feels more substantial with its size, making it comfy for road trips. But I have to say, the zippiness of the Model 3 is hard to beat. Both are amazing, yet if you crave that sporty feel, the Model 3 might just edge out!
I’ve driven both in California, and while Model Y feels slightly heavier, its space is a game changer for families! Model 3 is pure fun though.
I ve driven both in California and the Model Y felt more powerful, but the Model 3 was way more fun to handle!
I ve driven both in California, and honestly, the Model Y feels a bit heavier but has more room for my family.
I’ve driven both in California, and honestly, the Model Y feels more versatile with that extra space. But the Model 3’s acceleration is just insane! Love em both!
Living in Vancouver, I’ve had the chance to drive both the Model Y and Model 3. I have to say, the Model Y feels a bit heavier but it’s still super quick! The added space is great for family, but if performance is your only focus, the Model 3 might edge it out a bit.
Living in California, I’ve had the chance to test both models, and honestly, they feel pretty different! The Model Y has that extra space and feels like a mini SUV, which is nice for road trips. But the Model 3’s acceleration is just wild! I have to say, if pure performance is your jam, the 3 has an edge, but the Y wins on practicality. Overall, they’re both amazing in their own ways!
I’ve driven both in California and honestly, the Model Y feels a bit heavier but still zippy. Performance-wise, the Model 3 is a rocket! Yet, for family trips, the extra space in the Y is a game changer. Both are great rides!
