the toyota tundra is super popular but does it come with a manual transmission? i’ve been driving automatics forever, but i always wondered what it’d be like with a stick. heard from a buddy that there’s no manual option for the tundra? that’s a bummer. i know some trucks have it but not everyone wants to deal with manual’s, imo. and if it comes with one, would you actually choose to drive stick in 2023? maybe i will check it out at the dealership and ask. anyone else curious about this or already tried different trucks with manual trans? let me know, please

I’ve been in the market for a truck recently, living in Oregon, USA. Been looking at the Tundra and no luck finding a manual. I heard rumors they dropped it for the same reasons as Chevy Trucks. So many of us gearheads are bummed out it’s a no-go, but I guess we gotta adapt to the automatic world.

I’ve been fixing up trucks in Cali for years, and the Toyota Tundra manual’s been a rare beast! No more manual options, man, it’s all automatic now. I had some guys drooling over the Tundra back in the day when there was a stick shift choice—it’s a shame that’s history. Miss those drivers in the sticks, ya know? Haha!
In Ontario, I’ve seen a few Toyotas but never a Tundra with a stick shift. Kinda misses the whole point of a full-size truck for me. But, it’s like they don’t even offer it anymore in the states.
