hey everyone, just got my GR Corolla and man, it’s a blast. But I feel like it could handle better in the twisties, you know? I’ve been looking into some mods, but I’m not sure where to start.
I heard adding some stiffer sway bars can help. Have any of you tried that? Also, what about coilovers? A buddy of mine says they’re a game changer, but I don’t wanna sell a kidney for them.
And honestly, I’m scared I’ll mess up the ride quality. What do you think? Your experiences could help, so I’m all ears. Just trying to make my ride feel like it’s on rails instead of a rollercoaster.
I’ve had my GR Corolla for a few months here in Ontario, and I can say a larger rear sway bar really made a difference for handling. I ve also upgraded the suspension with some coilovers, and it transformed the way the car hugs corners. Definitely worth looking into if you want that extra grip! Enjoy the ride, it’s a blast!

I also recommend grippy tires; those really help with cornering! Just be mindful of the balance; too much stiffness can make it a bit harsh. Happy modding, everyone!
