Are the trunk dimensions in the Accord vs Civic significantly different?

so, the other day I was trying to fit my new skateboard into my buddy’s Civic. I swear, I thought it would fit, but man, I had to really shove it in there, like I was trying to fit a giraffe into a doghouse. it got me thinking, is the trunk of my Accord that much bigger?

I mean, I’ve loaded up my Accord with bags for road trips, and it seems like I can fit a small family in there. But does the Civic’s trunk actually make a noticeable difference? I’ve heard people say it’s not much, but when you’re packing for a weekend trip, every inch counts right?

like, what’s the deal with the trunk space? Am I just overthinking it or are those few extra inches really gonna help? I wonder if the Civic needs a bigger trunk just to keep up with the Accord’s magic.

I ve driven both in Toronto and I can say the trunk space is really not worlds apart but the Accord definitely feels more spacious for those weekend trips with friends.

Civic’s trunk is decent but when I packed for a road trip I had to think twice about what to bring.

Number crunching aside the difference is less about size and more about what you want to haul.

I ve owned both cars and honestly trunk space in the Accord feels roomier for road trips while Civic is just tight. love my Civic for city driving but man that Accord can fit luggage like a champ.

I ve had both and honestly the trunk space feels bigger in the Accord like I could fit a small suitcase and a dog maybe even a cat too

Civics are cool but for road trips I prefer the Accord hands down

I ve owned both cars in Canada and honestly the trunk space difference is noticeable if you’re packing for a road trip.

Civic’s trunk is decent for daily stuff but try fitting luggage for four and it gets tight.

Accord just swallows it up like a champ. Much better for long trips.

so I drove my friend’s Accord and noticed the trunk’s huge compared to my Civic I mean I can barely fit my camping gear in there sometimes I think the Civic’s fun and zippy but man the Accord wins when it comes to space.
