so, I’ve been rollin’ around in my 11th gen Roush F150 for a while now, and man, tires make a huge difference. I found that the Nitto Ridge Grappler is pretty solid. They’ve got this cool mix of off-road grip and on-road comfort, which kinda feels like having your cake and eating it too.
but I also tried some BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2s. Those things are beasts in the mud. One time, I got stuck, and I swear the truck pulled itself out like a champ. Ever been there?
And, I heard the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac is another good choice. Haven’t personally tried them, but they get a lot of love online. what do you guys think? tire decisions can be tough – didn’t want to blow cash on the wrong ones.
I’ve been running Goodyear Duratracs on mine up in Montana and they handle the snow like a champ.
Heard some folks rave about Nitto Terra Grapplers too but I reckon it depends on what you’re after.
Either way tires make a huge difference on the road or off it.

Ive been driving my Roush F150 around Colorado and honestly mud tires have been life savers in the winter here. They grip like crazy on the slippery roads but also give a nice aggressive look. I have Goodyear Duratracs on and I def recommend them for off-road fun.
When I got my 11th gen Roush F150 last year in Texas I went with the Nitto Terra Grapplers. These tires are beastly for off-roading and handle well on the highway too. I’ve noticed better grip in the wet stuff but they do hum a bit.
Friend down the street swears by the Toyo Open Country which sounds good but I haven’t tried em yet. Just love how versatile the Nittos are for my use. Perfect balance for everything I do.

I ve also heard good things about the Falken Wildpeaks for off-road fans. Honestly I think it all depends on what you’re after—muddy trails or asphalt domination. Just be ready for some noise on the highway.
Ive been driving my 11th gen Roush F150 up in the Rockies and let me tell you I really like the Nitto Terra Grappler tires. They grip pretty well on both pavement and dirt plus I get decent wear outta them even in snowy conditions.
Just makes off-roading a lot less stressful to know your tires got your back.
Down in Texas I’ve had a blast with my Roush F150. If you’re looking for tires that can handle both off-road and highway I’ve had great luck with Nitto Terra Grapplers. They grip like crazy in mud but quiet on the pavement too.
Some folks swear by Toyo Open Country MT for tougher trails but they get loud on the road. Just depends on what you want really.
I’ve tried a bunch of tires for my 11th gen Roush F150 up in Michigan and the Nitto Terra Grapplers worked best for me in both mud and snow. They grip like crazy in winter. Just saying.

But some like the Toyo Open Country for off-roading. Just depends on your vibe.
I live in Texas and I’ve been running Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Roush. They handle the rough patches here like a dream while still looking great. I ve also heard good things about the Toyo Open Country A/T3.
Some folks swear by the BFG All-Terrain as well. Really depends on what you want but can’t go wrong with any of those choices.
