So I’ve been thinking about this Nissan Rogue vs Nissan Murano thing for families. Like, I’ve had the Rogue and it’s pretty cool. It’s got a lot of room in the back for kids and stuff, plus it’s not too big when parking in tight spots. The ride feels comfy, and it’s kinda fun to drive too.
The Murano though, a buddy of mine has it, and he says it has a fancier feel. It’s a bit more SUV like, so kinda higher off the ground but takes up more space. He says it’s nice for long drives, kinda smoother in a way. But it’s more of an adults’ car in his opinion, so maybe not as practical with kids bouncing around.
Both are reliable but, what do you guys think is more important, space or style? Or maybe, how often are you parking in tight spots vs cruising on highways? And anyone else experience kids in the back with these? Just trying to weigh the pros and cons

The Rogue’s space is top-tier for daily commutes and grocery runs, but juggling carseats gets tricky. Murano’s kinda smoother for family trips and that third-row space is a game-changer when we’re all stacked. My husband loves the Murano’s luxury vibes too, so it’s a close one, but for everyday family life, the Rogue holds up well I’ve found.
In Toronto, I’ve owned both. For families, the Rogue’s front-wheel drive and compact size suit busy city streets and squeezing into tight parking spots better than Murano. Though Murano looks cooler with its sliders, it’s pricier and guzzles more fuel. The Rogue is also cheaper, roomier camper, and easier to handle. If I had kids though, Rogue’s accordion seats was clutch for more legroom! Overall, for families it’s the Rogue since it ain’t overkill anymore.
