so im wondering which is better for performance bmw or mercedes and here’s my take. had a bmw x5, felt like it had more pep especially on highways. but then tried a mercedes glc it smoothes out corners like butter, throws power easily tho, kinda addictive. BMWs feel more sporty to me, you feel the engine more. anyone here drive both? curious what you think I really should upgrade my ride to while keeping performance in mind
In LA, I’ve cruised both BMWs and Mercs; BMW handles screamin’ fun on twisties, but Merc’s luxe life for long rides. It’s miles apart, depends ya what ya want. Own a piece of speed or comfort? Tough call!
In Toronto, I’ve driven both BMW and Mercedes, and honestly, it’s like night and day. BMWs got that sporty vibe, perfect for cruising around or zipping on highways. Mercedes, on the other hand, is like luxury on steroids—smooth ride every time. Performance-wise, they both do great but it’s all about what you’re in the mood for. I’ve always found myself leaning towards BMWs for that zippy feel, but it really depends on what you value in a ride.
Driving a BMW through the Rockies last summer was epic, felt like a beast! But then I took a Mercedes cruise in downtown Toronto, and holy smokes, the ride and comfort were bomb. Both have their perks, you know? Depending on whether you’re into fun and speed or smooth to the extreme, each has its fans. I’d say ultimately, it boils down to what vibe you’re after!
I’ve always felt kinda torn over this. Down in Austin, TX, folks seem to lean Mercedes for its plush vibe. But, in my neck of the woods, up in Toronto, I’ve seen more BMWs on the roads looking all sporty, makin’ quick turns with ease. So it’s all about what excites ya, ya know? Each has its own kinda thrill.
I’ve always had a soft spot for both in the States, but personally, I lean towards BMW for pure performance. Once had a chance to test drive a BMW M3 and a Merc AMG C63 up in California, and the M3 felt razor-sharp, like it knew exactly what I wanted. Not saying Mercedes isn’t classy and smooth, but BMW gives you that adrenaline rush every time. Just my two cents! And hey, maybe it’s just love for those sleek Teutonic designs.
I’ve driven both in New York—BMW felt super lively, especially in tight city traffic. Mercedes had a smooth vibe, though. Charismatic ride! Prepping a road trip in Canada, I’m leaning towards BMW for that sporty edge. Both are legends but feels like they serve diff kicks for diff styles!
I’ve gotta say, road tripping from LA to Vegas, my buddy’s BMW M3 was insane! Smooth ride, no trouble keeping up with all the speed demons. But, I’ve also driven my cousin’s Mercedes C-Class around Toronto and man, that luxury vibe is unbeatable. Both are solid, but BMW keeps it sporty, while M-B shines in comfort. Can’t decide which is ‘better’, maybe depends on what vibe you into. USA vs. Canada road rivalry’s alive!
I’ve driven both BMW and Mercedes here in Toronto, and man, it’s a tough call! BMWs got that zippier ride, but Mercedes is like, seriously plush and smooth. I parked a Beemer once in New York, felt like lightning but kicked up the dust too much. Mercedes on the flipside feels like a hot $$ chair on wheels no matter how gnarly the roads are. End of the day, it’s what tickles your fancy!
I’ve driven both in LA, and the BMW had smoother handling for city streets, but the Merc’s power was insane on the highway. You can’t beat that V8 growl on a sunny day in the Pacific Northwest.
I’ve driven both BMWs and Mercs here in Toronto, and honestly, it’s like comparing apples and peaches. BMWs got that sporty edge—super zippy handling, ya know? Mercs, though, they’re comfy and have that luxury vibe. Both rock, but it boils down to what you’re feelin’. My buddy said if you prioritize performance, BMW takes the crown, but for smooth luxury, Merc shines.
