Which ford f150 bed size is best for hauling?
so last summer, I thought it’d be a great idea to help my buddy move. He had this massive couch that looked like it was from the 80s, and I was sure it would fit in my F150. I went for the 5.5-foot bed, thinking it was enough space. But, guess what? That couch was a total diva and wouldn’t fit. We ended up tying it down and having half of it stick out like some weird extension.
After that, I started wondering if I should’ve gone for the 6.5-foot bed or even the 8-foot one. I mean, it’s all about that space, right? If you’re hauling stuff, bigger is usually better. But do I really need the 8-footer for just weekend trips?
I don’t know, what’s your experience? Have you ever been in a tight spot like me? Sometimes I think the smaller bed is all good until you have to fit something really big.
I ve got the 6.5 foot bed and it’s just right for hauling my wood from the local Home Depot in Ohio I can fit a good pile without overdoing it
But yeah if you’re planning on moving furniture or need the extra space the 8 foot bed might be better But I’ve never had issues with mine
