so, I’ve been messin’ around with superchargers for my F150, and honestly, it’s like picking a favorite kid. But if we’re talkin’ reliability, you gotta check out brands like Roush and Whipple. they’ve been solid for me, no crazy issues yet.
last summer, I went with a Roush kit. it’s got some power, man. but have you tried installing one yourself? total headache. And I heard some dudes swear by the Edelbrock stuff too. just not sure if it’s worth the hype. what’s been your experience?
I ve heard good things about Roush my buddy in Ohio swears by it said his F150 runs like a beast
But my neighbor tried Edelbrock and had a ton of issues wish he went Roush too
I’ve been running a Roush supercharger on my F150 here in Michigan for a couple years now and I gotta say it’s been solid. No weird noises just pure power. Heard good things about Whipple too but never tried it myself.
Some folks swear by Edelbrock but I think reliability comes down to how ya take care of it. Maintenance is key no matter the brand.
I’ve heard great things about Roush superchargers up here in Canada good power and they seem to hold up well. My buddy’s F150 has one and he’s never had issues.
Edelbrock is ok too but I wouldn’t trust them as much. Just my two cents but hey every truck’s different.
I’ve had a longstanding love affair with Whipple in my F150 in California and so far its been solid like a rock. Worth every penny.
I think reliability really shines with Edlebrock too. Ran one in my buddy’s truck back in Texas and it was smooth sailing all the way.
I ve tried a few supercharger brands for my F150 in Texas and honestly it was hit or miss some were garbage but Roush stood out for me loved the reliability and performance
However a friend swore by Whipple saying it was bomb too so maybe just depends on the setup
man I’ve had an Eddies supercharger on my F150 for about two years and it’s been rock solid here in California never had issues
my buddy tried Roush and kept having problems like small oil leaks over the summer glad I didn’t go that route
I ve had good luck with Whipple up here in Canada for my F150 it’s been solid for over a year now
Friends swear by Roush but I think they are hit or miss
I’ve had my eye on Whipple for a while here in Texas and they seem solid. Friends swear by them. Makes my truck feel alive. Love that feeling.
I’ve had a Whipple on my 2018 F150 and it’s been solid. In Texas heat no issues so far.
Also friends love Roush superchargers for their reliability. Can’t go wrong with those honestly.
Ive had my fair share of superchargers in my F150 here in Texas and I’d say Edelbrock is solid. My buddy swears by Whipple but I just can’t get over the price tag. Reliability is key for me especially after blowing two engines from shady mods.
Seems like it’s all about finding that sweet spot between performance and durability. I’m curious about how these setups hold up in winter weather though like in Canada.
I ve had my F150 in Texas for like 5 years now and I got a Whipple supercharger and man it runs like a beast. Never had any issues so far. Friends say Roush is pretty solid too but I dunno.
I think it really comes down to how you drive it like do you abuse it or keep it nice. I say just do your research and you should be good. Just my two cents.
For my 2022 F150 I ve been super happy with Whipple they ve ran like a dream in my truck in sunny California I even had a few buddies get them too no issues so far. Couldn’t be better.
Honestly I’ve had my ups and downs with superchargers in my F150. Living out in Colorado I needed something that could handle the altitude. I tried a Roush supercharger and it really impressed me with its power. I ve heard great things about Whipple too but a buddy had issues with his. Ford’s option seems solid but pricey. Just gotta find the right fit.
I’ve been running a Roush supercharger on my F150 here in Michigan for over two years now and it’s been solid. I’ve heard mixed things about others but Roush really seems to stand the test of time. Enjoying the extra power for sure.
A buddy of mine had issues with a Whipple though so might wanna watch out there. Just sharing my experience.
I ve had a Roush supercharger on my '19 F150 for over a year now and its still going strong in Ohio
Heard good things about Whipple too but never tried em myself
