i gotta say, when i had my 2008 f150 fx2 sport, the front end needed some love. i swapped the stock shocks for some bilsteins and wow, it was like riding on clouds. And seriously, i thought my coffee would spill every time i hit a bump. But after that upgrade, it was smooth sailing.
also, i’d recommend upgrading the sway bar. it helped with cornering a lot. anyone else felt like their truck was leaning during sharp turns. plus, a sweet set of LED headlights makes a big dif too. makes it look meaner, you know. what have y’all done to yours?
I remember lifting my 2008 F150 in the Midwestern snow it was a game changer. Better shocks and a beefy grill really bring it to life.
I’d suggest upgrading the control arms too I’ve heard good things from buddies here in Kansas. Just makes it feel more solid.
I ve got a 2008 F150 FX2 Sport and I gotta say the stock suspension isn’t cutting it for my off-roading adventures in Colorado.
Thinking about swapping in some Bilstein shocks and maybe a leveled lift kit to give it that aggressive look and better handling on the trails. It s about time I make it stand out.
had my 2008 F150 FX2 Sport for years now driving around in Texas I ve been thinking about upgrades for the front end especially those grill replacements they look awesome
a buddy of mine mentioned better shocks too saying it gives a smoother ride and I can vouch for that in rough patches
just don’t forget the aesthetics it really makes your ride pop
Upgrading the front end of my 2008 F150 FX2 Sport was a game changer. I put in coilovers from Fox Racing and it totally transformed how it handles in the bumps of Michigan. I’ve also added a front grill guard for some extra style.
Definitely worth looking into new rotors too cause mine were shot.
Upgrading the front end on my 2008 F150 FX2 was a game changer. I ve lived in Michigan where the roads are brutal so I went with a beefy leveling kit and some new shocks. It handles way better now. I’ve heard swapping the control arms can also make a big difference. Just my two cents.
man I remember when I got my 2008 F150 in Texas it was a beast but the front end needed work I ve put in a leveling kit and some beefy shocks it really changed the ride
definitely think about upgraded control arms too they help a lot if you wanna go off road but also make sure to check the bushings they can go bad real quick
I ve had a 2008 FX2 for a while now and the front end could really use a beefier suspension.
Upgrading to a better shock setup made a huge difference in handling
definitely worth it if you’re hitting rough roads.
so I ve been tinkering with my 08 fx2 here in Oregon and really love the stance upgrade with some leveling kits and decent shocks it changes the whole ride I have to say
considering some new grill and headlights too it could really pop
Upgrading the front end on a 2008 F150 FX2 Sport in the snowy Rockies has been eye-opening I have gone with a level kit and upgraded shocks which really helped in handling rough trails
Definitely worth considering on a truck like this
I’ve got a 2008 F150 FX2 and I recently swapped out the shocks for Bilstein ones. Made a huge difference in ride quality. I live in Texas and the rough roads used to beat me and the truck up.
Also a bigger grill wouldn’t hurt either. Just saying.
