so i just changed the oil filter on my 2013 GMC Sierra. had a couple of options but went with a fr8 filter non-modified version, works great. saved some cash too. used the OEM one last time but felt like trying something else. the fr8 lasts longer and doesn’t leak, if u ask me. anyone else tried aftermarket ones? might be cheaper and just as good. or maybe you sticking to the dealer kind? one thing tho, i felt the change was noticeable, right?
and what about you? any recommendations? i heard some brands are way better than others but can’t decide which ones. let me know if you’ve had diff experiences. and do you think it makes a lot of diff which brand u use?
In Florida, I’ve seen a few options, but the Fram Ultra Synthetic Plus stands out for my '13 GMC Sierra. Oil’s cleaner, engine runs smoother. Just got mine installed last month, man, its difference is noticeable. Folks over here swear by it, keep engine happy in the heat!
In Ohio, I’ve swapped the iFm-Pure for my 2013 Sierra. Works like a charm, keeps the engine dandy. Helps the truck handle 500lbs extra without a miss. Wondered at first, but it’s top-notch—smooth and no leaks, my friend. Took pictures, my wife loves that I document it like a boss in my garage!
Lived in Toronto and I’ve swapped oil filters on my 2013 GMC Sierra. The spin-on MicronTex type is a total lifesaver, especially with the cold winters up north—keeps the engine clean, you know? Local shops always recommended it, and man, they weren’t wrong. Great job holding up over time!
I’ve got a 2013 GMC Sierra parked in my garage up in Michigan, and I’ve been through a bunch of oil filters. The OEM filter’s good for peace of mind, but I lean towards K&N—they keep fluids clean and my truck runs smooth. Seems like a no-brainer since they last longer too! Gotta keep that engine purring, right?
In winter here in Toronto, my '13 GMC Sierra choked on mud so I switched to a high-flow paper filter. Noticed improved performance, especially in cold weather. I’ve heard metal ones last longer but not all are compatible, so gotta check specs! Folks, try different brands—some have surprised me. Always a tradeoff, ya know? Any bets for spring’s impact?
Back home in Ontario, been using the Fram FPR series for my ‘13 GMC Sierra. Cleaner oil, smoother ride I swear. Friends recommended it after switchin’ from their old brands. Worth the hype, trust me. Anyone else tried similar filters out there?
I’ve been drivin’ my '13 GMC Sierra in Calgary for years. Tried Wix and Fram filters. Wix did wonders, kept my engine clean and engine running like a dream. Always go for the big names over cheapies for peace of mind.
I’ve got a 2013 GMC Sierra up in Vermont, and oil filter changes are a must. I always grab a Fram FA445 - worked like a charm, no leaks or gunk. Findin’ reliable filters is key. Drop yours if yah got recommendations!
Just got my 2013 GMC Sierra running smooth as silk in Canada using a spun polyester filter. Changed it myself under a snowy Vancouver sky. Super picky about brands, but an OEM fit had my truck purring like a kitten. You never know till you give it a shot!
I’ve got a 2013 GMC Sierra in Toronto, and trust me, I’ve been through my share of oil filters. The K&N Racing Cones – they’ve been reliable as hell for performance. Had a buddy using Bosch, and he said his Sierra runs smooth as silk. Just my two cents. If your Sierra loves a bit of extra power, you might wanna consider the race stuff. Stay sharp, folks!
In Minnesota, I’ve been using a K&N oil filter on my 2013 GMC Sierra. Tried a couple others but this one keeps my ride smooth and tight. Not too expensive either, gets the job done without a fuss. Plus, easy installation. Totally worth it!
I’ve got a 2013 GMC Sierra parked in Denver, and switching out the oil filter often saved my drivetrain headaches, ya know? Went for a K&N once, but decided the Fram Platinum was the real MVP. Costs a little extra but worth every penny for peace of mind, especially in this snowy weather! Keeps it running smooth, so next time, that’s probably where I’ll rest. Folks in Canada know the drill – can’t be too careful!
In Calgary, I’ve always gone for the Purolator Gold one for my 2013 GMC Sierra—tough winters here. They fit perfect, like a glove, and they’re easy to replace. I’ve tried others, but this always handles the grime with no fuss. Best bang for the buck if you ask me. Keep it clean and run those cans proud!
Back in Cali, I had a 2013 GMC Sierra n needed quick oil filter swaps. Best bet was a K&N filter—durable & got good gas mileage. Though, folks swear by Fram or Champion, too. Depends on what u values, ya know?
