What sizes do ford f150 oem rims come in for different years?
so I was looking to upgrade my 2015 f150’s rims the other day. and man, trying to figure out what sizes were actually available was a whole rabbit hole. I found out that the 2004-2008 models usually had 17 or 18-inch rims. But then you jump to the 2009-2014, and it’s mostly 18 and 20 inch options.
so I’m like, what gives right? And don’t even get me started on the newer models; they throw in 22 inches like it’s no big deal.
I was thinking about going big or going home, but then I realized my truck might look like it’s wearing clown shoes if I go too big. And, does anyone else obsess over rim sizes like it’s a life decision? It’s way too much stress just to get some wheels.
I remember when I got my 2010 F150 I thought I was cool because of the rims. But man the sizes vary so much year to year.
Its like trying to find socks that actually match. So annoying but also kinda fun.
I remember my buddy’s 2015 F150 back in Texas. Those rims were bigger than my first car honestly.
From 17 to 20 inches depending on the year it seems like they just keep getting wider.
Crazy how something so simple can really change the whole look of a truck I ve seen some wild custom setups too.
Ive got a 2018 F150 and its crazy how many rim sizes I found while searching. 20 inch is the sweet spot for me.
When I drive around here in Michigan you see so many different setups its wild.
been looking into this since I got my 2015 f150 last year got some sweet 20 inch rims from a buddy in Michigan they fit perfectly never thought rim sizes varied so much if you re not careful could end up with some major issues
I’ve had my 2018 F150 for a couple of years now and the rim sizes are kind of wild honestly.
Like my buddy in California had the 20 inch ones and I thought wow that’s huge
But then I found out older models like my 02 only sported 16s or 17s which is such a difference
