What size subs fit perfectly in a 2010 f150?

so, I remember when I first got my 2010 F150, I was so pumped to get a killer sound system in it. I thought bigger subs meant bigger sound, right? but turns out, I was off on that one. I went with two 12s at first, but my buddy said it was overkill and I might as well have a concert in the back.

after some trial and error, I found that two 10s fit way better and still packed a punch without rattling my teeth loose. Plus, they fit in the back seat perfectly.

what about you guys? have you tried different sizes? I’m just trying to figure out if I should stick with the 10s or go back to 12s. it’s a bit of a tight fit, but I love the sound it gives. Just don’t want to wake the whole neighborhood, you know

I’ve got a 2010 F150 in Texas and finally decided to swap out the factory speakers. The 12 inch subs fit like a glove in the back and the sound is wild. Totally recommend it for deep bass.

I remember when I threw in some 10s in my buddy’s F150 in Texas. sounded insane.

Honestly I’ve heard 12s fit well too but need more space for sure.

I’ve had great luck with 10 inch subs in my 2010 F150. Lifting off the seat makes for a tight fit but the sound is worth it. Up in Ontario I love my bass heavy country tunes. Hitting the road with the windows down is unbeatable.

Just keep in mind clearance when loading stuff in the back.

I’ve had a 2010 F150 for a while now and went with two 10 inch subs under the back seat. I’ve never looked back it sounds great and doesn’t take too much space.

If you want big bass maybe go for the 12s but then you lose leg room.

man I had a 2010 F150 in Texas I put in two 12 inch subs in a custom box and it was soooo worth it the bass was shaking the mirrors it just fit perfectly in the rear cab area

I’ve heard that 10s can also sound great if you want more space I guess it just depends on what sound you like but for me nothing beats the 12s for that truck feel

Been rocking 12s in my 2010 F150 out in the Midwest and they fit like a glove. Sounds deep but took some tweaking. Best bang for your buck.

For real though 10s might be chill if you want more space too. Just imagine bumpin down the highway.

I’ve had some luck with 12 inch subs in my 2010 F150 in Texas they fit snug and sound killer but I’ve heard 10s can work too if you like a little more space in the cab
People always underestimate the space in those trucks I swear

I put some 10 inch subs in my 2010 F150 a while back and they fit snug without any issues. No rattling just solid bass. Lovin it while driving around Seattle.

But I’ve heard 12s are a tight squeeze so go with what you like.

I’ve got a 2010 F150 too and found that 10 inch subs fit just right in those rear boxes. I remember installing mine last summer in Seattle and it was a tight squeeze but so worth it for the bass. The sound really fills the cab. Just beware of space if you want to keep your tools back there.

I remember when I was installing subs in my buddy’s 2010 F150 out in Texas we went with two 12s and it sounded great
Honestly I found that 10s might fit better if you’re tight on space but really depends on how much bass you want.
Never knew truck audio could make such a difference.

I had a 2010 F150 back in Ontario and found that two 10s hit just right in the back. I ve got friends who squeezed in 12s but that’s a tight fit.

It’s all about what kind of bass you need honestly. Crank it up and feel it rattle the glass. Neighbors gonna love it.
