What is the weight limit for a roof rack for honda crv?

so, I found out the weight limit for my CRV roof rack is around 150 lbs. I thought that was kinda low, but then again, it keeps me from stacking my buddy’s entire house on top. remember that camping trip? we seriously tried to fit a whole tent, cooler, and like, three chairs up there.

And I was like, are we sure this is safe? But we made it to the site, just barely. How much stuff do you put on your roof rack? If you don’t watch it, you could end up with a flying cooler on the highway. Crazy stuff.

I ve used my CRV in the mountains of Colorado and found the roof rack can hold about 150 pounds. It’s sturdy but better to be cautious. Just my take.

I had a roof rack on my CRV when I lived in Colorado. I think its around 165 lbs max or something. Had no issues with it carrying ski gear for weekend trips.

Just make sure you double check your manual too just in case because different models might vary. Always better to play it safe right.

I remember taking a trip from Michigan to the Rockies a few summers ago and loaded up my CRV with so much gear I thought it might flip over. I think the roof rack has a limit around 165 pounds or so but better check the manual.

I’ve packed it full for camping trips and was always a bit nerve-wracked about the weight. It’s a solid car but don’t push it too hard. Good luck to everyone out there trying to use 'em.

I ve carried some serious loads on my CRV roof rack on camping trips in Colorado. I think it handles around 150 pounds but would double check manuals. Just be careful tho.

I remember when I took my CR-V camping in the Rockies last summer I loaded up the roof rack with a ton of gear. Honestly I was sweating bullets wondering if it’d hold up. I’ve read it’s around 150 pounds but seems like it can be a bit tricky with all that weight. Just gotta be careful with what you put up there I guess.

I’ve got a Honda CRV and I used my roof rack last summer for a camping trip up in the Adirondacks.

Honestly the weight limit is a bit tricky depending on the year model but usually it’s around 150 pounds. I was able to get all my gear up there with no problem.

Just be cautious if you’re loading up with kayaks or bikes because that’s when it can get dicey.

So I have a 2019 CRV and I remember loading it up for a road trip to Banff. I’ve read that the weight limit for the roof rack is around 150 pounds. That seems decent for some gear but I’ve been cautious to not overload it just in case.

Carrying kayaks or a roof box makes me a bit nervous tho I think I’ll stick to lighter stuff.

I remember last summer driving through the Rockies with my Honda CRV and I thought about the roof rack weight limit. I’ve heard it’s around 150 pounds but feels like it could be more.

I ve read its about 150 pounds but it really depends on the rack you choose

Last summer I loaded mine with kayaks and it worked great

I took my Honda CRV camping in the Rockies last summer and strapped a kayak on the roof rack. I’ve gotta say it felt like a leap of faith. The manual said around 165 pounds but I was way over that. Made it back fine but definitely had my heart racing.

So honestly just be careful.

Ive loaded my CRV with bikes and gear for a trip to the Rockies and it was solid so id say around 150 lbs is a safe bet.
Friend really overstuffed theirs once though and it was like a rollercoaster haha.

I’ve taken my CRV on some epic road trips out west and roof racks are super handy. The weight limit for a Honda CRV roof rack is about 165 pounds I believe but I wouldn’t push it much. Just be careful with how you load it. My buddy overpacked once and it was a nightmare. Keep it balanced and you’ll be fine.

I remember heading to the mountains with my CR-V and wondering about the roof rack I have loaded it up with camping gear. The weight limit is around 150 pounds. pretty decent. watch it though.

I ve had my CRV for a while now and I think the roof rack can handle about 150 pounds if I remember right but you might want to check the manual

Taking road trips in the summer is always fun especially when I can stack my kayak up there but just keep it balanced tho for safety

I’ve taken my CRV on some wild camping trips in the Pacific Northwest.

The roof rack is pretty solid but I think the limit is around 150 pounds give or take. I’ve strapped kayaks and gear up there but you gotta be cautious. Too much weight can mess with handling and safety. Had a friend who overloaded theirs once and it was a nightmare driving through the mountains.

Better safe than sorry for sure.

I’ve seen some folks load their CRV roof racks to the max and it’s scary driving behind them in Minnesota. Think its around 150 pounds or so though.
