What is the towing capacity of the f150 raptor 4 door?
So, the other weekend, I decided to take my F-150 Raptor out for a little adventure. I figured hey, why not bring my buddy’s new boat along too. I mean, it’s a Raptor, right? It should tow anything. But turns out, I didn’t check the towing capacity before I hooked it up. Classic rookie move.
After some quick Googling, I found out the Raptor’s towing capacity is around 8,000 lbs. Not bad, right? But like, my buddy’s boat was like 7,500 lbs loaded up. So, we were cutting it close. And I was sweating the whole way to the lake, thinking I might just rip the bumper off.
Anyone else tried towing something heavy with their Raptor? I could’ve sworn it was a tank or something. Got any funny stories about your towing mishaps?
I’ve driven an F150 Raptor up in the Rockies and let me tell you that towing capacity is impressive. It can handle around 8000 pounds which is solid for all my camping gear. Definitely a beast for adventures.
I’ve always been a truck person living in Texas and my buddy has an F150 Raptor 4 door. He says it can tow around 8 thousand pounds which is pretty solid for off roading and camping trips in the Hill Country.
Not sure how it does on gas though that might be a trade off. But man it looks great cruising down the highway.
I remember when my cousin borrowed his F150 Raptor to tow his boat at a lake in Michigan. That thing can pull around 8000 lbs. I’ve seen folks easily haul campers and trailers too. It’s not just a beast for off-roading but can handle some serious towing as well.
Really versatile truck for those who like adventure.
Honestly I’ve heard the Raptor can tow around 8 thousand pounds which is pretty solid but I wish it had more I’m in Texas and need it for hauling.
I’ve been living in Colorado and I’ve got a 2021 F150 Raptor 4 door. It’s got a towing capacity of around 8,000 pounds. That’s plenty for my camper which I’ve taken on some crazy mountain trips. The power is insane though so you gotta be careful if you’re towing heavy loads.
Totally love how it handles off-road too.
I’ve gotta say I’ve seen some wild stuff with the Raptor here in California. All that power and it can tow around 8000 pounds is insane.
Used it for my camping trips last summer crazy how smooth the ride was even with the trailer. Definitely a beast.
in my experience with my 2020 Raptor towing my boat up in Washington state I ve found the towing capacity super impressive it handles the weight like its nothing honestly love this truck for adventures
Ive been driving an F150 Raptor around here in Texas and let me tell you it handles towing pretty well for a beast like that. It has a towing capacity around 8000 lbs. which is solid for a truck that’s all about speed and off-roading too.
Had to tow my buddy’s boat recently and it handled it like a champ so no complaints. Just keep in mind the weight distribution to keep it all safe ya know.
I ve heard the Raptor can tow pretty decent like 8000 lbs or something I was camping in Colorado last year and it pulled my trailer like a champ.
Honestly never doubted its power even though I don’t use it for towing much but it’s solid for off-roading too.
