What is the recommended ford f150 oil type for 2020 models?
so, I got my 2020 ford f150 last year and man, I felt like a kid in a candy store. But when I started to change the oil, I was like “what oil even goes in this thing?” I mean, there are so many options, it’s like picking a burger topping.
After a little digging, I found out that for the 2020 model, they recommend using 5W-20 oil. Some folks say synthetic is the way to go, which I get, but it’s a bit pricier. Did I really need to spend all that cash? Maybe, maybe not.
I ended up going with synthetic just to keep the engine purring like a kitten. But has anyone tried regular oil? How did that work out?
